The half-day trip is great when you don't have too much time to spend on the water, but still want to get some serious angling done. You'll be focusing on the inshore waters where the main targets are Redfish, Seatrout, Tarpon (when in season), Snook, Snapper, and others. The price of the trip includes rods, reels, and terminal tackle.

St Augustine is the oldest US city and is surrounded by a rich history and picturesque landscape to fish by. When fishing you can expect to venture off the ICW and go deep in the salt marsh grass to chase reds and trout or pull up some bridge monsters fishing for sheepshead. The jetties offer a great variety of species of fish with the occasional shark cruising through. Florida saltwater license is all inclusive and covered by our FWC Charter Capt License. We are all USCG Licensed Capt and are insured.

This striped, hard-fighting fish thrives around the state’s countless docks, bridges, seawalls, and nearshore reefs. Florida’s long coastline and mild winters keep bites consistent, so anglers come for reliable fun and tasty fillets.
Most captains target Sheepshead with inshore fishing and light bottom fishing. You will drop small jigs or simple rigs beside pilings and rocks. Fiddler crabs, shrimp, and sand fleas are go-to baits. Keep your line tight and be ready—Sheepshead bite softly, then pull hard.
Trips are usually short runs to protected water, great for families and first-timers. Expect patient coaching on how to feel the tap and set the hook. Captains provide quality tackle and bait, but bring sun protection, polarized sunglasses, snacks, and a camera. Ask your captain what is included and what you may keep.
Across Florida, Sheepshead gather anywhere crustaceans live on hard structure. Productive areas include Panhandle jetties, the Big Bend’s rocky edges, Tampa Bay bridges and piers, Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound mangroves, and Florida Keys bridge spans. On the Atlantic side, check Intracoastal Waterway docks, inlets from Jacksonville to Miami, and the Indian River Lagoon. Nearshore reefs and wrecks also hold bigger fish statewide when seas allow.
