Snakehead fishing in Florida, United States is all about fast strikes and close combat. The local Bullseye Snakehead is a hard-fighting freshwater predator. It thrives in warm South Florida canals and hits topwater lures with explosive power.
Most anglers use spinning or baitcasting gear and target the edges. Sight fishing, which means spotting the fish before you cast, works well in clear, shallow water. Topwater frogs, weedless soft plastics, and walk-the-dog plugs shine around grass and wood.
