    (Half Day Trip Fishing)

    Super fun!

Went on the trip during our vacation and was looking for something fun to do besides sitting on the beach, we found this boat on the app; and we were excited. They provided drinks, cute little charcuterie bored, help teaching the correct way how to do the different types of fishing they offered. All in all we (all of us caught 13 fish) even a little tuna! The crew was amazing, friendly and caring! On the top 3 fishing experiences we have ever done.

Skipjack Tuna are fast, hard-fighting game fish that travel in big schools. Anglers love them for rapid strikes, constant action, and great fun on light tackle. If you want steady hook-ups and blistering runs, Skipjack Tuna fishing is a smart choice.

You can target them by trolling small feathers, spoons, plugs, or strips behind the boat. Casting metal jigs or soft plastics into surface feeds also works well. When fish sound, vertical jigging helps reach deeper schools. Live bait like sardines or anchovies is a proven option. Medium spinning or trolling gear with a smooth drag and strong leaders is ideal.

Expect fast-paced action with chances for double or even triple hook-ups. Look for diving birds, rips, temp breaks, and floating debris, which often mark feeding fish. This trip suits beginners, families, and seasoned anglers who enjoy steady bites. Bring sun protection, polarized sunglasses, layered clothing, and any motion-sickness aids you prefer. Pack a cooler if you plan to keep fish, and follow your crew’s handling tips for fresh, clean fillets.

Rules for Tuna vary by country, state, and local waters. Always check license and permit needs before your trip. Confirm any open seasons, size limits, and daily harvest rules that apply where you will fish. When in doubt, ask your captain and keep only what you plan to eat.
