Welcome aboard! I'm Captain TJ, your trusted guide out of South Padre Island, Texas. With over a decade of experience, I run a 24-foot Dargel boat powered by a 250 SS Suzuki, offering plenty of room and speed for an unforgettable fishing adventure.
We specialize in targeting big speckled trout and redfish, but we also chase flounder and black drum. Our local knowledge is second to none—we know these waters like the back of our hand. Our expertise has been recognized in several tournaments, including first-place finishes in 2025.
As true locals, my family and I live just minutes from the dock. My wife is an eighth-grade science teacher in Port Isabel, and our kids attend local schools, so we're deeply rooted in this community. Plastics only • 3 adults • 1 childWe had a fantastic trip with TJ Boom. He provided top-quality gear and did a great job teaching me and my 13-year-old some new techniques for catching trout. TJ was patient, knowledgeable, and clearly knows the water well. We caught plenty of trout, including a few nice keepers that turned into excellent fish tacos later that day. Highly recommend booking a trip with TJ if you’re looking for a fun and productive day on the water.
