Captain John grew up in Rodeo, CA, and started commercial Halibut fishing in the 80s. He wanted to expand his business by taking other people fishing. Even though he charges people to fish, a genuine smile is the best tip for him and his crew! He believes that if he can make you happy, his job is complete.

8 Hour Trip – California Halibut • 5 adultsCaptain John Badger and Fox were amazing! They both have great knowledge of the San Francisco Bay. We all appreciated the way they went the extra mile to make sure everyone caught fish. Captain John always navigating around the Bay to find fish. Fox skillfully managed and assisted us in nearly catching our limit of halibut. This was a fun trip planned with my brothers and friends. It was also a first time experience for my daughter who caught her limit. Thank you for the memorable fishing experience!
