Captain Ray was born and raised on Long Island, NY. From a very young age, his father taught him to love and respect the ocean. Family trips revolved around fishing. Free time was spent trading tackle in his garage with his brother and cousins. Weekly fishing trips were always a competition of who could catch the most fish. To this day Captain Ray has a passion for fishing. For the last 10+ years, Captain Ray has been fishing the waters out of San Diego and has a deep passion for Tuna fishing. 8 Hour Trip – Coronados • 2 adultsCaptain Ray and 1st mate Earnie put us on an amazing Yellow Fin Tuna bite. Fish were boiling all around the boat and we had multiple hooks several times. They hustled all day and even afterward to help us manage the several 100#s of fresh fillets. We ended up with our limits with combined Mahi and Yellowtail. The boat is in great shape with all the modern amenities/electronics. Ray is a real pro who lives to fish. Book with him and you’ll have the best shot at an epic day.

8 Hour Trip – Offshore • 3 adults⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an experience! From the early morning ride out to the last fish hitting the deck, this trip was first-class. The crew worked hard, kept us on the fish, and made sure everyone had a great time. The yellowtail bite was on, the weather was beautiful, and the memories were even better. 12 Hour Trip – Offshore • 6 adultsthis was a great trip! captain ray and rex were wonderful at helping my dad and friend reel in the fish. they were super kind, family oriented and knew where thr fish were. They always kep the boat moving anf kept putting us in fish. some of them broke off because the fish they were able to find were so huge! I am defintiely coming back again this season with this charter. thank you for all the fun and new memories.

8 Hour Trip – Coronados • 3 adultsWe loved our first trip so much we booked a second one with Captain Ray! We took the 8hr trip and it was amazing. We caught a LOT of fish and released a lot too. From start to finish the communication was great, and the experience was spectacular! We would highly recommend a trip with him and his crew! When we come back to San Diego we will definitely book this trip again!

12 Hour Trip – Offshore • 5 adultsthis was a full day offshore trip, we had a great time, we caught Bluefin Tuna, yellowfin, yellowtail, and also Dorato which was unheard off in April. i would highly recomend Wild Goose Charters, with Captain Ray and Earney

2026 Offshore season has begun!

This was our first offshore trip of the season amd we couldnt have started it off any better. Water temperatures are about 5 degrees warmer than usual bringing in dorado(mahi mahi) yellowfin tuna, yellowtail and bluefin tuna. Incredible start to the season. 2026 will be one to remember. Lets make memories. Book your trip today.

Opportunity to catch a fish of a lifetim

The offshore fishing is heating up with good opportunity to catch bluefin tuna from fun size to jumbo size. Kelp paddies are starting to hold yellowtail(hamachi in the sushi restaurants) Now is a great time to go fishing with us. We would love to fish with you.
