Hello, I am Captain Chuck Hill, a United States Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain, and Licensed Maryland Fishing Guide. I have over 48 years of Fishing experience, and would like to share it with you. It does not matter if you are a Novice or Experienced Angler. My goal is for you to have an enjoyable time while fishing on Maryland's Chesapeake Bay and it's Tributaries. I run Trips on Maryland's Chesapeake Bay from May 1st until October 30th

4 Hour White Perch and Croaker Trip • 4 adultsWe caught fish which Chuck cleaned for us and our grandson was able to learn the process. We had them for supper. Good tasting. Mostly ate white perch. But caught many other species. Chuck informed us about what to expect and also educated us on the area since Grandma and Grandpa are from Wisconsin. We enjoyed the adventure.

4 HOUR STRIPED BASS TRIP • 6 adultsChuck was great. Very knowledgeable about the waters and the type of fish we were catching. Made sure we all caught fish and was always ready to replace bate on our hooks throughout the day! Definitely would book again.

STRIPED BASS SEASON RETURNS SEPTEMBER 1!
September is right around the corner, and that means one of my favorite times of year on the Chesapeake Bay is about to begin!
Maryland’s striped bass season reopens September 1, kicking off what can be some of the best light-tackle fishing of the year. As summer gives way to fall, we get cooler temperatures, beautiful days on the Bay, and increasingly active fish.
At Chills Light Tackle Guide Service, I focus on putting you on the fish and letting you catch them on light tackle. Depending on conditions, we’ll use jigs, swimbaits, jerkbaits, topwater and other techniques to target striped bass throughout the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries.

And stripers aren’t the only game in town. White perch, spot, catfish and other Chesapeake species can provide plenty of action and give us options throughout the trip.
? Fall is a fantastic time to fish the Chesapeake. Cooler weather, less summer heat and some excellent fishing make September through the fall one of the best times to get family and friends together for a day on the water.
Whether you’re an experienced angler or have never held a fishing rod before, you’re welcome aboard. I especially enjoy introducing kids and new anglers to Chesapeake Bay fishing.
