We were on a drought, but found the birds and suddenly had 5 on at the same time. Crazy, but we reeled them all in. The boat was super comfy for when we were on the search, so not just a great fishing experience, but a great boat experience too. We ended up taking half of a yellowfin tuna onto shore and the restaurant cut it up for us, fresh sushi! So good.

We had an amazing amount of fun - even though almost all of us spent part of fishing trip fighting the waves and our stomachs at the same time 🤢 😂. Let's just say: the fish weren't the only ones getting a workout! Despite that, the mood stayed fantastic and we laughed a lot. Everything about fishing was explained clearly and patiently, so even beginners felt comfortable and involved. I can highly recommend this experience to everyone - great people, great fishing, and memories we'll never forget! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

8-časovna tura • 2 adultsThoroughly recommend Capt Antonio and his son Luciano , 3rd and 4th generation Mauritian big game fishermen and it showed .From the moment we stepped on board the Maranatha ,we were welcomed and set sail straight away , within an hour we had our first fish hooked , however it threw the hook . The Capt and Luciano were full of encouragement and with in the next couple of hours has 2 Dorados on board, at the end of our 8 hour trip we had 4 great fish , had seen Whales and had an amazing experience. I would thoroughly recommend this boat and hope you have the same great time we had .

Both of them were incredibly friendly, patient, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. They took the time to explain everything in detail and shared a lot of interesting insights about the fishing and the area. You could really tell they love what they do! They tried absolutely everything to get us on the target fish and made the whole trip unforgettable. Highly recommended – we’d go again anytime!

6-časovno putovanje • 5 adultsCaptain Antonio and the crew were very hospitable, accommodating, chatty and professional from beginning to end. We did a 6 hour fishing trip from Le Morne and were able to catch a Blue Marlin which was a bucket list experience. The boat is very comfortable (there were 5 of us) and when the fish were not biting we saw so many dolphins and whales to keep us occupied.

225–250 lb Hammerhead Caught & Released

We were out for an 8hours fishing. After 45 minutes out we hit in a school of skipjacks. The lines started singing. We caught skipjacks one after the other. After catching some the school dived down. We saw another school further out. We caught 2 more skipjacks that we used as live bait. Now the waiting game started...We trolled at 2 knots along the ridge ....we had a long wait..later in the afternoon while bringing one of the skipjacks to the boat to check if it was ok...we could note that one of them looked a bit nervous...we put the skipjack back to the right distance...their was two powerful pull on the outrigger then nothing....we immédiatement bring the line back to see that the dacron line was cut...it was a shark.. we continued trolling with the second live bait...few minutes later bang...the line went off the out rigger....we released the brake to give the opportunity for the fish to swallow the live bait....after few seconds it was time to jook the fish. We accelerated both engines and applied the brake on the 130 penn international reel....the fish took about 300 meters of the out....after a good fight a hammerhead shark of 225....250 pounds was released safely. We came back with 9 skipjacks and a shark released.

54‑lb Wahoo and Skipjacks Aboard

We started at 7a.m . Once out we started fishing. Not long after..we hooked a good size wahoo on the long corner line. After a nice fight a beautiful 54 pounds wahoo was caught. Later on we hooked few skipjacks and caught 2 that we used as live bait for marlins. Unfortunately no marlin caught today .We were back to shore with a splendid wahoo and some skipjacks.

Afternoon Trip: 28 lb Wahoo Landed

Out for a 4hrs afternoon trip. We had a strike on the closest lure....unfortunately no hook up. Just few seconds later fish was on. It was a nice size wahoo. After a good fight the hook came off. The fish was silent till we were on the was back with 2 more wahoo strikes. We finally caught a beautiful 28 pounds wahoo.

Triple Hookup Leads to 9 Dorado

The start was a bit slow till we met a school of doradoes. We immediately changed technique and it paid. We hooked 3 at the same time. Catching one after the other. We were back at shore with 9 splendid doradoes
