Yes, this is a great tour for beginners. Captain Georgios is very knowledgeable and attentive. Even for experienced fishermen, it’s still an enjoyable experience to learn about the local ecosystem and fishing experiences. The scenery is also tremendous.

Exciting Fishing Trip in Athens
I am not an angler, I booked as a first fishing trip. Kostas explained to me many things & is a great teacher but as much as he is great for beginners I can see he may be better for more experienced anglers.

Yes - the fishing was fun, but also the cruise by the Red Beach and lighthouse, the swimming in the sea, the emptying of the fishing nets and then the meal made from the fish we caught made it much more than just fishing. It was just a fun, relaxing day for the family!

We fished in the afternoon due to our cruise ship's schedule and still caught a large golden grouper. You will troll in this location vs casting, so it is more of a passive experience. But the views are beautiful and the water is great for swimming as well. My understanding is May-Jul is the height of the fishing season.
