  This was a great trip of inshore fishing. We caught 8 different type of fish. Papa Smurf and Mike were great. They helped us catch many fish then took us to Charlies to eat the fish we caught. Papa even took us to our hotel so we didnt have to wait for a taxi. We fish all over the world and this was one of the best trips ever. We are coming back in May to deep sea fish. I can not say enough about how good this fishing trip was. They went the extra mile to make sure we had fun, caught a lot of fish and then helped us eat the fish we caught. What a fantastic day. Thank you Papa Smurf and Mike. We will see you again in May.

  Absolutely incredible first deep-sea fishing experience with Papa Smurf Charters in Sint Maarten!

  I took my 14-year-old son on his very first deep-sea fishing trip, and it could not have been more perfect. Captain Anthony (“Papa Smurf”) and First Mate Mike made us feel completely welcome from the moment we stepped on the boat. They were patient, encouraging, and so good with a first-timer — especially a teenager. They explained everything clearly, helped him with the gear, and kept the energy fun and positive the entire time. We headed out trolling and the action was fantastic. The crew put us on the fish, and my son got to fight and land some real beauties. Watching his face light up every time the rod bent was the highlight of our whole trip to the island. The boat was clean and well-equipped, the vibe was relaxed and professional, and they took great care of us the whole day. Papa Smurf Charters is hands-down the best choice if you’re bringing kids or anyone new to fishing. They turned what could have been an intimidating first outing into pure excitement and unforgettable memories. We’ll be back the next time we’re in Sint Maarten — highly, highly recommend!

  Birthday Fishing Adventure with Papa Smurf 🎣🐟💙

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Experience! I had such an amazing fishing experience with Papa Smurf! I booked this trip to celebrate my birthday with my dad, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. 🎣💙 The captain and crew were incredible and worked so well together. They made the entire experience easy, fun, and enjoyable from start to finish. You could tell they knew exactly what they were doing and really wanted us to have a great time. And the fishing did NOT disappoint — we caught 3 mahi-mahi and a barracuda! 🐟🔥 Such an exciting experience and an amazing memory to share with my dad for my birthday. Afterward, they recommended that we take our fresh catch over to Dinghy Dock to have it cooked, and that was the perfect way to end the day! We had some of the fish blackened and some fried, and it came with two sides for a really good price. There’s nothing better than eating the fish you just caught! 😍🐟🍽️ From the fishing to enjoying our fresh catch afterward, the whole experience was unforgettable. 10/10 would recommend Papa Smurf, and I would absolutely book with them again! 🎣🌊

  Great Crew, Great Fishing, Great Day

  Captain Anthony and Mike were both super friendly and made the whole trip easy and enjoyable. They gave clear directions and guidance throughout the day, and even though the seas were a little rough, Captain Anthony handled the boat really well and kept us fishing comfortably. We had a great day and caught two nice tuna along with mahi-mahi. Mike cleaned and cut up the fish we wanted to keep and packed everything into the cooler we brought. We obviously didn’t need both tuna, so they kept the other one, which was perfectly fine with us. Overall, it was a great fishing trip with a good crew, good communication, and some really nice fish. We’d definitely recommend Papa Smurf Charters.

  We booked the 4-hour deep sea fishing trip, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! We brought my mother in law, who loves fishing but rarely gets the opportunity to go, and she was so happy the entire time. The crew took excellent care of us from start to finish, and it was obvious that they are highly skilled and experienced fishermen. We caught a mahi mahi and two barracudas, which made the trip even more exciting! Afterward, the crew recommended that we take our catch to Charlie’s, a local restaurant, and it was one of the best recommendations we could have received. They prepared our fish four different ways, and every dish was absolutely delicious. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip, and I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting St. Maarten!
