Did not catch any keepers. Captain Larry worked the water well. It just wasn't our day. I have never been saltwater fishing. It was a good experience.
Larry asked us what we wanted to target and he put us on every single thing we asked for. We asked to just catch fish (hopefully a keeper), catch a ribbonfish, and see dolphins. We were catching fish faster than we could get the previous fish in the water and put more bait on hooks. On multiple occasions we had double hookups with fish that were nearly all over 25 inches long. We ended up with one keeper that was 24 and a half inches, caught one beautiful ribbonfish, saw dolphins, and caught over 10 species of fish. We caught too many Red Drum to count, and we had to throw all of them but one back because they were all too big to keep - what a great prohlem to have! Larry was outstanding and we'd recommend anyone to book with him. He knows the area, knows the fish, and knows how to keep you happy. WHAT AN AMAZING TIME WE HAD TODAY!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Captain Larry was absolutely incredible — hands down one of the best experiences we’ve had as a family! This was my kids’ very first fishing trip, and he made it unforgettable from start to finish. We caught around 10 fish and even landed a keeper flounder, which had the kids beyond excited. But what really stood out was Captain Larry himself — patient, engaging, and genuinely invested in making sure we all had a great time. He took the time to teach, encouraged the kids, and kept things fun the entire trip. On top of that, he was just an awesome guy to talk to — felt like we were out on the water with a friend. My kids will be talking about this trip for years. If you’re looking for a captain who delivers both a great fishing experience and lasting memories, Captain Larry is the one. We had a fantastic fishing trip with Captain Larry in South Carolina. Captain Larry was friendly, patient, and worked hard to help everyone catch fish. We had the best experience with Captain Larry! It was our first time saltwater fishing and chartering, so we went it without any expectations. Captain Larry set the bar pretty high! We caught mostly red drum and flounder, and also a few oddballs (eel and lizard fish). Captain Larry was so helpful, informative, and friendly. He took us to several different fishing spots and even the rides in between locations was fun. Simply the best experience and the highlight of our vacation. Can’t wait for our next charter with Captain Larry!
