This trip takes place in the ocean. You normally stay relatively close to the shore, and target Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Cobia, and Redfish. It provides variety, so if that suits you, this might be just the perfect morning action. The gear is on board, pack your stuff, and come along.

Get out on the edge of the gulf stream. Lots of tasty bottom fish like Seabass and Snapper. Line screaming Kingfish, jumping Mahi, and Cobia. This is also a great trip to Frying Pan Tower!

You and the captain will be fishing shallow water areas. You'll fish on light tackle and use both artificial bait and live bait. Sight fishing is a delicacy as it's exciting to see the fish in the water before it takes a bite!

This is a 4 hour inshore trip. On this, we fish the calm waters of the sound and near the inlet. Typical target species include Speckled Trout, Redfish abd Bluefish. This is a great trip for light tackle fishing and beginners or families, so bring your loved ones aboard along with some snacks to stay refreshed.

During the early summer, Tarpon begin to migrate to The Pamlico Sound, the Neuse River & the Pamlico River to spawn. These majestic creatures start 'rolling' in late June and stay much of the summer. By mid-July, the world record Redfish (Bull or Old Drum) start their migration to the rivers and sound. Holding 18 of 24 IFGA World records for Redrum, Captain Dave has mastered the art of catching these fish in his 40 years of chasing these behemoth fish. They will stay until early October.
