(3/4 Day Trip - Extended deeper (AM))

    Excellent trip w/ Captain Adam

We had an excellent trip. The weather was a little dodgy in the morning but layed down nicely. Adam had us on bait 1st thing and then we limited out on red grouper and had a keeper Gag as well. We got into some keeper mangrove and Vermillion snappers along the way. We lost a few lunkers - but thats always the case. The only thing we didnt land were the Barracudas. He had us on fish at every stop. The 3 of us are looking forward to fishing with him again.

    Great Experience

John was a great and accommodating Captain. Caught some fish, John cleaned them and then we ate them at Mac’s (Fish Tacos). Would do it again!

    (4 hr Inshore Trip)

    Great trip

Fantastic inland trip. Weather was perfect, fish were biting. There was no first mate on the boat so the captain worked double time. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Lane Snapper fishing is all about steady action and great eating. This colorful Snapper hits hard, fights with heart, and rewards patient anglers. It thrives around reefs and hard bottom, making it a favorite target for beginners, families, and anyone who loves tasty fillets.

Most crews use reef fishing and bottom fishing with light tackle. Natural baits like shrimp, squid, or cut bait work very well. Small circle hooks keep fish pinned and make releases easier. A simple sinker rig gets your bait to the bottom, where Lane Snapper feed. Small jigs tipped with bait can also draw quick strikes.

Expect fast bites and plenty of fun without long boat rides. The action is usually close to structure, so the drop is short and the fight is lively. This suits kids and first-timers, yet still keeps experienced anglers smiling. Bring sun protection, polarized sunglasses, non-slip shoes, and drinking water. If you get seasick, consider motion sickness remedies. A cooler is handy if keeping fish is allowed.

Rules can change by area, so check local fishing license and permit needs before your trip. Review season dates, harvest limits, and gear rules for Lane Snapper. When in doubt, ask your captain or local authorities for the latest guidance.
