Drifter Too Charters
Drifter Too Chartres strives to keep people happy by introducing them to the finest species Rhode Island has to offer. Captain Richard, and the crew invite you down to Narrangasett for a fun and productive day on the water.
Your trip will take you fishing for anything from Bass, Bluefish, Tautog, and Fluke inshore to Tuna and Sharks further out, as well as Cod and who knows what else. From 5 hours on the water to a full-day adventure, there is a package for you.
You will be able to enjoy a heavy tackle workout or fish with light gear. the Captain will show you the basics of trolling and make sure you know how to cast properly. It’s hard to tell which species will be biting, so you can expect to find whatever is in season at the end of your fishing line.
All the magic happens aboard the “Drifter Too,” a 36’ Harris sport fishing boat. She is a large and roomy vessel which can take up to 6 anglers to fish in comfort and style. The Drifter Too comes powered by twin 285 HP Volvo engines and carries all the navigational and fish finding electronics to save your time while searching for fish.
All trips with Capt. Richard come inclusive with the use of rods, reels, tackle, bait, and a fishing license. When you return to shore, your catch will be cleaned for you. Please note, that all Sharks are catch-and-release only.

Great day on the water
Weather was perfect and Dick and Charlie got us on the striper right away. We caught a few stripers and a blue. Most were too big to keep but still ended up with a striper and bluefish for dinner. We transitioned to bottom fishing the second half of the trip and were catching Black Sea bass and scup one after another. Overall had an awesome day out on the water, can’t wait to book another charter.

We had a great time and caught monster stripers! Location and presentation was spot on. Great time talking with Capt Dick and deckhand Joe, it was such a great experience and the legendary Rhode Island stripers are to be found with the Drifter Too!

Stripped Bass 3 keepers
Two trusty old salts of the sea put us on top of a lot of fish! 3 keeper with 7 throw backs due to the size limit. True gentleman with great knowledge of fishing for stripped bass. I recommend them highly for those who want to catch fish and have a great time.

Great trip!
We had a great outing with Captain Dick and his grandson Charlie. We caught so many blues and stripers; our family of 6 each caught 3 or so as Captain Dick knew the best spots to jig. The weather was great as well so it made for a perfect outing for a morning trip. I’d highly recommend chartering with Captain Dick and his crew they were entertaining and very knowledgeable about the waters and the history of the area
