Waypoint Fishing Charters and Captain Nate Wheeler specializes in putting their clients on top of the hottest bite both inshore and offshore. Scratch that itch to fish by chasing Tarpon or venture out to the blue waters for the big one. With Capt. Nate, you will fish like the locals!
Capt. Nate is a Florida native, born and raised in the Keys. He is an enthusiastic guide who enjoys nothing more than sharing his passion for waters with his clients and friends. Nate is an Iraq war veteran and a personable guide.
A day out with Waypoint Fishing Charters is a great idea to test your angling skills and battle anything from Tarpon to Permit, Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Barracuda, Amberjack, Wahoo, Grouper, Sailfish, and many more. Capt. Nate specializes in anything from kite fishing to spinning, fly fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, and bottom fishing.
You will be checking the bite aboard a 25' Sea Bee center console. It is a sea-worthy fishing machine with a single 250 HP Yamaha engine that can take you up to 20 miles out. The boat is equipped with Tuna tubes, an icebox for the catch, outriggers, a flybridge to spot any action going on beneath the surface, and other professional accessories.
Bring your fishing buddies, family, or friends. Aboard Capt. Nate's boat, there is plenty of space for up to 4 anglers. You will need to bring your own drinks and snacks with you; all the gear, lures, and licenses are already included in the price.
'Patience and persistence. Never give up, never quit.'

Nate was a Great Captain! He knows his stuff and was more than happy to take us out for whatever we wanted. We had non stop action the entire time. Definitely recommend!
Nate Wheeler with Waypoint Charters is the man. Of the 7 Tarpons hooked from 15+ boats, we caught two of them.
Had an awesome time! Captain Nate is a great fishing guide!! He put us on some fish and we had an amazing trip!!

After graduating from Key West High School in 2003, Captain Nate chose to pass up on many college opportunities to enlist as an Intelligence Analyst in the USAF. Despite the fact Nate had started a very promising career in the USAF which included many travels and a decorated overseas deployment, he couldn't stay away from his love of fishing and spending time on the water.
