Bounty Hunter Charters invites you aboard for a productive fishing trip around one of the many islands in the Hauraki Gulf. Spend a day or several fishing spots like the Little and Big Barriers Islands, Kawau Island, the Mokohinau Islands, and more, catching many of New Zealand's top fish species.

Depending on where you visit, you will have the chance to target delicious food fish like Blue Cod and Pink Snapper, as well as hard-fighting gamefish like Kingfish (Yellowtail Amberjack), Tuna, and even Marlin. You can also reel in Hapuka, Kahawai, Tarakihi, and more as you explore some of the most remote and beautiful points in the gulf.

You will be spending your trip aboard a 44' Marco Sambrallo fishing boat, originally designed as a crayfish boat in Australia. The vessel can carry up to 12 anglers on day trips, and groups of 8 on overnight charters. She is equipped with comfortable cabins, a stocked galley with a gas oven, a BBQ, and a full bathroom complete with a hot shower.

The boat is also fully-equipped for amazing sportfishing, with GPS and a 3 KW fishfinder (triple the power of what most boats have) to get you right on top of your target species. Rod, reels, and tackle are not included but can be hired for $35 a day. Quality bait (squid and pilchards) will also be supplied for an extra $195 per day.

You have the choice of day trips or multi-day adventures to all the locations Bounty Hunter Charters visits. On day trips, you are welcome to make full use of the galley and BBQ. On overnight charters, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert will be provided by local caterers Ravish Cafe.

These guys have all the details covered and will take care of the less enjoyable parts of fishing like cleaning and packing your catch. You just need to show up and enjoy. So what are you waiting for? Head into the Hauraki Gulf and catch some big tasty fish!

Full day trip with skipper Aaron out to Little Barrier
10 Hour–Kawau Island on May 11, 20188 adults

Aaron meet us at Ti Point wharf and was bang in time. The Bounty Hunter is an ex cray fishing boat with plenty of room and built to fish. Aaron has this well set up, each angler has his own bait board and drink holder and Aaron provided plenty of bait, so much so there was excess for boys to take home. We fished off Little Barrier and soon were filling the fish bin. Aaron made great coffee, reset gear when needed, removed fish from hooks but best of all put us right on top of the fish. We caught our limit in snapper as well as bringing on board John Dory, Red Bream, Blue Cod, Trevally, Porae, Golden Snapper, Kahawai.....it was a great day out on the water and Aaron could not of been a better bloke. I highly recommend this charter
