Fin Addict II Fishing welcomes you onboard for a day of hard fights and big fish in the Florida sun. Launching out of Port Canaveral, you will be able to target a huge range of species, both nearshore and offshore.
Nearshore trips focus on local favorites like Redfish, Snook, Mangrove Snapper, and Spanish Mackerel. Head further out, and you could be battling Mahi Mahi, Cobia, King Mackerel, and even Sailfish. Capt. Mike also offers specialty Shark trips, targeting Blacktips, Bonnetheads, Tigers, Hammerheads, and more.
You will be spending the day fishing aboard a 29' Vineyard Haven fishing boat. This hardy vessel is more than stable enough to get offshore and features a covered top to keep the Sunshine State's famous weather at bay. She also has GPS and fishfinder to lock onto the fish, and downriggers to bring them in, however deep they are.
Depending on your trip, you could be fishing up to 20 miles out, going after a massive variety of species. With this in mind, you will have the choice of light and heavy tackle, and the option to bottom fish, troll, or live bait your day away.
All Finn Addict II Fishing trips come with fishing licenses, bait, tackle, and bottled water. All you need to bring is any food and drink for the day, and the standard list for any fishing trip: Sunscreen, shades, a hat, and a big cooler! If you are planning on heading offshore, you may also want to take seasickness medications such as Dramamine.

We had a fantastic trip. Our group was 2 dads, an 11 year old and a 7 year old.
We were hoping to target something specific. Captain Mike let us know his concerns (low chance of success) and gave us options. We ended up spending about 80% of the time catching his suggestion, and the last 20% fishing for what the kids really wanted, and we ended up catching one. We wanted to catch fish for dinner, and ended up with enough for several dinners.
Captain Mike was very pleasant, funny and knowledgeable of the area. I will be booking future trips with him.

We were new to salt water fishing, and Captain Mike taught us everything we needed to know, but didn’t “baby” us through anything. The Captain let us reel in fish from the moment they hit the spoon, all the way to unhooking the fish and dropping the line back down in the water. Captain Mike has been doing this for years and knows all the best spots. Even with a 4hr near shore trip, we caught tons of Spanish Mackerel and the Captain filleted all 12-15 fish afterwards.

2 kids aged 11 and 13 and 2 adults on fishing trip. We ended up hooking 3 Jack Cravelle but only landed the smaller two which were about 35 and 30 pounds respectively. The bigger one got away. It was likely about 50 pounds but as time goes on its likely to get bigger! Fun day on the boat. We started with fishing for some live bait and then went on to focus on the Jacks. Not much else biting. Only disappointment was not catching a tasty fish but it was exciting AND tiring to reel in something so large and feisty. Was a family effort to bring them in. Thanks Mike
