Fin Addict Il Fishing 

We had a fantastic trip. Our group was 2 dads, an 11 year old and a 7 year old. We were hoping to target something specific. Captain Mike let us know his concerns (low chance of success) and gave us options. We ended up spending about 80% of the time catching his suggestion, and the last 20% fishing for what the kids really wanted, and we ended up catching one. We wanted to catch fish for dinner, and ended up with enough for several dinners. Captain Mike was very pleasant, funny and knowledgeable of the area. I will be booking future trips with him.

We were new to salt water fishing, and Captain Mike taught us everything we needed to know, but didn’t “baby” us through anything. The Captain let us reel in fish from the moment they hit the spoon, all the way to unhooking the fish and dropping the line back down in the water. Captain Mike has been doing this for years and knows all the best spots. Even with a 4hr near shore trip, we caught tons of Spanish Mackerel and the Captain filleted all 12-15 fish afterwards. I Highly Recommend Fin Addict.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Very knowledgeable. My girlfriend and I went out and we had the best time. We were hooked up from the start of the trip. A must if you are looking for an incredible experience with lots of excitement.

Thank you again for the trip out. It was great when you pointed out things as we were heading out and even better when we got something on the line. It was fun reeling in the fish. Also thank you for filleting the fish and telling of a restaurant that would cook it for you. We appreciated everything.

If I could give 10 stars it still wouldn’t be enough! Captain Mike is knowledgeable, friendly and the best choice for a charter in our opinion! Captain Mike taught us about each of the fish we caught and was extremely patient and helpful to those of us who needed it . He even explained how the wakes worked from the other boats and pointed out dolphins and the rocket ship and launch pads at Cape Canaveral. Our group of 6 was very comfortable onboard lots of room for everyone. Captain Mike took us out to the perfect spot we each had a turn at pulling in the black nose fighters ! Cold water provided on board and everything you need to catch ‘‘em all! You can bring your own snacks and drinks and relax and enjoy the weather until the big ones get hungry :) After over 4 hours on the water Captain Mike then filleted both of our sharks and split them up for our party to take home. . If you are considering a fishing charter on the west cost you should definitely give Captain Mike a shout . He will take care of you like family!

Myself and my young boys (age 7 and 10) had a great trip. Captain Mike was friendly and informative. And Captain Dave that was with him was exceptionally great too. We caught some smaller fish while we waited for the sharks to bite. Our boys had the time of their life - until a shark got in the boat then I thought they were going to jump in the water to get away. Captain Mike read the room perfectly and tricked my oldest into holding the shark (pictured above). He first told him just to put his hands there then moved his hands away and he was holding it! My son was half “this is the best thing ever” and half “please save me Lord Jesus”. He talked about it still this morning (“can you believe I held a shark, dad” and “I can’t believe I did that”). They enjoyed catching fish and hearing the stories. The Captain was extremely informative and exceptionally good with kids. I highly recommend it and we can’t wait to go back! Me, my wife, daughter (15), and son (11) did the half day trip with Captain mike and his first mate David. When we first got to the boat, they were ready to go and very excited for our day. As soon as we got to our fishing spot and dropped our lines we were catching trout. They set 2 bigger poles up and less than 30 mins into the trip my wife caught a 8ft 100# shark (picture attached). About 30 mins after that we caught a stingray and a monster shark that unfortunately broke 600lb line! We ended up with a lot of trout, whiting, and then hooked another shark at the end of the day! David helped my son and daughter teaching them how to fish. Both captain mike and David knew right where the fish were biting and put us on them! They cleaned our fish for us at the end of the day and we can’t wait to cook it! We had a blast and can’t wait to come back for the monster that broke the line next year! 10/10 would recommend! Had an awesome trip with Captain Mike and first mate David. They were both friendly and very knowledgeable. We went out on the afternoon trip, just put to the first buoy and started fishing. There was 4 of us in our party and we were catching fish like crazy. Trout mostly but a few others. Even when we weren't catching anything there was tons of action on the end of the line. The highlight was the Blacktip shark we hooked on our line. Mike let me reel him in all the way up to the boat and then we brought the shark on board. Unfortunately our trip got cut short due to a nasty storm but Captain Mike was safety first which I appreciated. Had a blast, brought home a ton of shark and trout to eat and had a great time. Highly recommend and will definitely be using Capt Mike for our next trip.

Mike is extremely knowledgeable about the different species of fish. He went above and beyond to increase our chances of catching a fish and we caught at Atlantic Sharpnose Shark! We will be eating our first shark tonight! Thanks Mike!

Captain Mike gave us every opportunity to catch fish. The fish were not very cooperative, but I was able to reel in one shark. He gave me several options as it became evident that we may not snag anything by trolling. In hour number 3 of my 4 hour adventure I was finally able to catch something. It was an awesome experience.
