Old Florida Guide Service
Old Florida Guide Service invites you to explore the Treasure Coast with a native guide. Capt. Billy’s devotion to the area’s wildlife will help you step out of the boat with a richer knowledge of the area’s ecosystem and fantastic angling opportunities.
Capt. Billy grew up on the waters of the Treasure Coast. By the age of 10, he already knew he wanted to be a fishing guide. But be careful - Billy’s passion for fishing is contagious!
Old Florida Guide Service mainly fishes the mangroves and flats with light tackle or fly for Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Tripletail, and Redfish. There is also a possibility to venture out to the nearshore waters and chase Cobia, Grouper, and Kingfish if the weather allows.
Your fishing trip will take place aboard a 22’ Pathfinder boat. It comes powered by a single 175 HP Yamaha engine and is rigged with modern navigational and fish finding electronics. The boat is also equipped with an icebox to keep your catch fresh during the day, and a live well for the bait.
All trips come with the use of rods, reels, tackle, bait, lures, fishing licenses, and bottled water. Complimentary fish cleaning service is available once you return to the shore. Just bring your own drinks and snacks and hop onboard!
