We booked the spellbound for my brothers bachelor party and everyone had an amazing time, the boat itself is fantastic. Incredibly comfortable and spacious, there were only 7 of us but even with several more we would’ve been fine.

The captains know very well what they’re doing, they do everything they can to give you a great experience and give you the best chance to catch something. They adjusted our area and reset bait regularly if we things got slow.

Obviously what you catch is always somewhat up to luck but every one of us was able to catch common Bonita fish, we probably caught between 10 and 20 of these. Additionally we were lucky enough to catch 3 barracuda and a hammer head shark (which was of course not pulled into the boat and was released safely once we had a chance to take pictures) and while luck plays a huge part in this the captains were knowledgeable enough and dedicated enough to do everything in their power to increase our odds.

Overall this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and I would highly recommend the spellbound and her crew to anyone looking for a great charter.

You want to catch fish? Go with the Spellbound out of Haulover / N. Miami. Capt. Brian and Capt. Mark got us on the fish quick and used many different techniques to go after different types of fish. We started off by getting tuna (6 of them!), then some bait fish for the next setup - barracuda! Then a different setup for sailfish and sharks - very close to getting a 9 foot hammerhead. We finished off the day with another barracuda on light tackle and only got it in the boat with the experience and expertise of Captains Brian and Mark. I can’t recommend them more - these guys are the real deal and great! 6 fish to eat and 2 fish to mount. What a memorable experience!

Captain Brian and first mate Jordan were awesome! We booked the boat for 2 families traveling together, 6 adults and 4 kids. We caught a bunch of fish- bonitas, blackfin tuna, king mackerel and a golden amberjack. The kids also loved seeing and feeding the nurse shark and tarpon right in the water near the dock when we got back to the marina. Highly recommend this experience!

We arrived for a bachelors party to go deep sea fishing. The captain and first mate were great getting rods out quick to start trolling as we were headed out. We were able to catch quite a few different fish event though we had to cut the trip short. We were out about 4.5 hours and decided to come in due to the Bachelor and best man getting quite sea sick. The first mate did his best to include the sick bachelor by bringing him a rod with a fish on for him to reel in even through he didn’t want to get up. I give props to the crew. We happened to go out when it was pretty rough waters and the captain did a great job trying to navigate all the cross waves as we were out. I do plan on doing it again at some point but next time I will be sure to have some motion sickness meds for the group incase.

Captain Jose, first mate Jordan We’re absolutely amazing. I had my 15 month old daughter with us. They kept her in the action and having a good time we caught a 7 foot hammerhead 6 1/2 foot sandbar, shark and a bunch of other fish. The boat was very well maintained, and the gear was excellent. Would highly recommend this charter. My family and I will definitely be going through Jose and Jorden again. They gave us a once in a lifetime fishing trip.
