Captain Jari Laakkonen is the owner of the company, and he's got years of experience of fishing all over the world – from Miami to Surin Islands – which is what made him start his own charter business. The guide who will take you on your trip is Capt. Thi, who comes from a long line of fishermen and is a professional in putting you on the fish in the Gulf of Thailand.
Capt. Thi will welcome you aboard a 25' Yamaha runabout outfitted with a 150 HP Yamaha 4-stroke engine that makes her stable and safe on the waves. A group of up to 4 anglers can fish at the same time on the vessel, and you'll find all the fishing gear ready as you set out.
You will be using Penn Senator, Shimano, Okuma, and other quality rods and reels, as well as live bait and lures. Fishfinding electronics are top-notch, and they will get you where the fish hide.
Trolling, high-speed jigging, and bottom fishing are just some of the techniques you'll be using to attract your next trophy fish. This area has a lot of artificial reefs, so you will be casting your line there, as well as around wrecks, up to 50 miles from land. You will be on the lookout for offshore favorites like King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Jack, Queenfish, Black Marlin, Barracuda, Golden Trevally, and so much more.
There will be a first mate on the boat to help and instruct, and feel free to come with kids, Capt. Thi has life vests for everyone. The captain provides drinks, lunch, and pickup from your hotel, which means you just need to show up and have a good time.

Best part was catching long toms, fantastic experience on light tackle which is a personal favorite with me. And the challenge of hooking them and then the subsequent fight is great. We also caught king mackerel but the high point was the long toms which the crew sashimi’d on the boat while we beached on an island waiting for the tides to turn. After fishing, headed to Jari’s restaurant where he had dropped some of the catch and we had king mackerel steaks for dinner. Overall a great day.

My father fished for Salmon in the waters of the Finnish capital of Helsinki. Father taught me the secrets of fishing at a young age. We would go out to cast our lines in his boat whenever we had the time. Fishing is my passion. It is always a challenge. Today, I'm running a fishing charter and I have a wonderful captain that knows all the best fishing spots in the area. I will be there to meet and greet you before you start your trip.
