Captain Mike's Charters 

Let me start off my saying that weeks before the trip even happened - Capt Mike responded to any and every question I had and got to know our needs and did such an awesome job explaining the trip to us that we decided to extend to a longer one! Best decision ever. He got back to me within MINUTES of every question i asked and was so flexible with our group number changing a couple of times. All with being so kind. The boat was easy to find, the crew (Opie and Seth) worked their butts off to set up for us and continued to work their butts off when we got out there and were catching fish left and right. I told Seth who was our deckhand that I was tired just watching HIM work! He was also so knowledgeable and it was so facinating listing to his knowlege about this sport. There were 6 of us who love to fish that went out for our first time deep sea and I know it’s a memory we’ll always Cherish. 11/10. No notes. We WILL be back.

Captain Mike and deckhand Wesley were terrific. Our family group of 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 children had plenty of space to relax on the 53 foot fishing vessel "Capt Mike". She quickly took us to multiple spots about 15 miles offshore. We caught a red snapper, mahi mahi, and a rare black fin tuna. Wesley was an awesome deckhand who made sure every hook was baited up and assisted with any issues. The mahi mahi and black fin tuna were caught because of Wesley's knowledge and observation. We saw a group of mahi mahi swimming near the surface, and he immediate cast out some live cigar minnows on a hook. I pulled in a mahi mahi, and my brother-in-law battled hard to bring in the tuna. Overall, an awesome experience. We had fresh seafood for 3 days! Highly recommended for families who want a comfortable fishing experience with experienced local crew.

We had an absolute blast with Capt. Mike and Wesley! Hands down the best charter we've ever had. Capt. Mike put us on the fish and Wesley was a beast on the deck! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great trip out. We will definitely be booking again!

We had nine fishing and we all caught fish. a great dayon the water. Mike and Westley made our trip very memorable.

Our trip included my son, myself and 2 grandchildren, ages 8 and 14. Captain Chris put us on fish at every stop and our deck hand Seth did an amazing job at getting the kids to bait their own hooks. On our 6 hour trip we caught 63 lbs. of fish that yielded a good amount of filets to bring home. We will definitely be booking again when in this area but will be booking a 10-12 hour trip next time! Thank you Captain Chris and Seth for an awesome experience!

I booked a trip with another captain a few months ago for a graduation trip for my 3, 18 yo sons and their older brother . Everyone was super excited about fishing and the beach. The nameless captain replied by email briefly after booking so when we got here, I messaged him that we were here and looking forward to the trip in a couple of days and asked a couple of basic questions to prepare. Nothing! I thought ok, maybe he’s busy. So the afternoon of the day before i messaged him again. We received a fishing booker generic message that the trip had been canceled due to mechanical problems at 10:15 pm the night of the trip. I search frantically that night until midnight for another charter. Most said that you can request and the captain will get back within 24 hrs. I saw capt mikes charter and it looked promising so i put in a request. At 7:00 am i had a reservation and he personally called me at 8:00 am. Great experience and the first mate Robert was great also. He put us on the fish all day and I would use him again. Thanks Capt Mike for making a graduation trip very memorable for me and my sons.

4 adults and 4 kids. had an amazing time. went Amberjack fishing. Capt Mike and Jeremy were both very knowledgeable and made the trip fun for everyone. Definitely will book with them again.

Our trip was pleasurable, the captain and first mate were so helpful and kind. They answered every question we had. We caught fish and had a ton of fun! Worth every penny for the experience!

We signed up for the half-day Spanish Mackerel trip because my brother-in-law brought his boys who have never been on the water fishing before so we were worried about them getting seasick. After trolling around for about an hour and not catching anything they took us off shore so that we could catch some stuff. Wasn’t a great day for catching fish but a great day for hanging out. The boat was very clean. I’ve been on several offshore and deep-sea fishing trips and I’ve never seen a boat as well-kept. Captain Hanks and first mate Dave were great. We had several kids ranging from 7 - 13. My only complaint was they didn’t do a safety brief before we embarked. Not sure if that is standard practice but seems like it should be.
