Jamaica Charter Boats is based in Falmouth, Jamaica, but sometimes they can meet you at Sea Wind on the Bay, Montego Bay. The company specializes in exciting fishing trips for the ‘big ones’ that reside in the Caribbean Sea.

You can choose from a variety of packages that can be tailored to your specific needs. If you too busy to catch a morning bite, enjoy an afternoon out on the water. Add a few more hours to your trip or get the waters all to yourselves and spend your whole day fishing.

Your captain will take you checking the bite 5-6 miles offshore. There, you will be equipped with rods, reels, and tackle to enjoy the finest deep sea fishing experience.

The list of your potential targets will include Amberjack, King Mackerel, Red Snapper, Barracuda, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo. Apart from that, you will be able to battle Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Swordfish, Blue Marlin, and White Marlin. If that doesn’t impress you, then nothing could!

Jamaica Charter Boats operates the ‘Marlin Mania’, a 38’ Phoenix boat. She comes powered by a pair of 210 HP Caterpillar engines and has plenty of fishing space for up to 6 anglers.

The Marlin Mania is rigged with a GPS and a VHF radio, along with a fighting chair for those who are up to a challenge. There is also a flybridge to enjoy the view of the lagoon and the surrounding waters. The Marlin Mania is a comfortable vessel with a restroom and a sleeping area aboard.

When you’re done fishing, you will come back to shore, split the catch with the crew, and get your part cleaned and filleted. Don’t forget to bring your own snacks and drinks with you!

6 Hour Trip #alittleshort

3/4 Day Trip on June 14, 2019

Things felt a bit off right from the start. We were told by the owner/car driver that we had to pay the balance before we could even step into the boat! We didn’t get out on the water until after 7:00 am and did not catch anything but a small fish on our way back in promptly at 1:00pm. The crew was nice but we felt they were just out putting their time in and not as interested in trying to find the fish! We were told it was not a good time of year to fish and had accepted that until we got back to our hotel and heard from 3 separate groups that also went out that day had caught lots of fish. Tuna, Marlin and Barracuda. I do understand there are bad days but I think they could have tried harder for us! #disappointed #$1000Boatride #feltcheated
