Reel Smoker 

Had a great trip with Capt. Zac. Tarpon weren’t really around like we hoped, but he still kept us on fish all day and put us on sharks, barracuda, and snapper, and we even ended up getting on some tarpon toward the end of the trip. He was super laid back, friendly, and really knew his stuff. He did a great job working with both me, someone with a lot of fishing experience, and my girlfriend who’s pretty new to fishing, and made sure we both had a good time. Would definitely recommend booking with him.

It was a joy watching my son and and my husband fish. David was on the ball. He was quick to assist and get bait in our line. He was very knowledgeable

Man what a bad day to be a Mahi Mahi! Would HIGHLY suggest using this charter company , especially Captain Hugh Morgan. Captain Morgan and crew called the day before the trip and suggested we go out the day after we had planned due to rough seas , Captain was transparent from the minute we arrived on dock about the Gulf Stream being far out and if we wanted to get on Mahi it’d be a long ride out but we would find them. And find them we did!! He kept myself / wife and three young kids on fish all day and limited out in the matter of hours. Killer day on the water!!!

Captain David took us to the marquesas where we started the day inshore catching barracuda. Then We headed out to the reef for snapper. And then offshore for amberjack. And got a Bonito on the way to the amberjack spot. Sharks hit us hard out there but we managed to get one AJ in the boat. Then finished the day out back at the reef for snapper and sharks. We had 3 teenagers with us and everyone had a great time. Thanks captain David!

We had captain Hugh today. It had potential to be a tough day with a northern blowing in and changing weather conditions, but due to the outstanding effort he put into our trip we ended up with a great haul and fantastic experience. I have been out with him several times and every time he produces not only great customer service, but great fishing, which turns into an awesome experience for all involved. From booking, communication, to the final product(fishing) this company does a phenomenal job. They are a great example of what a good fishing charter SHOULD be. Great job Hugh, thanks for the great trip. We can’t wait to get back out and rip some lips again!

Captain Sam really knows his fishing. We caught several species. Limited out on Mangro Snapper and caught a 110 lb. Tarpon. It was thrilling. Sam really took care of us. We had a wonderful trip. Brian and Tonja

We booked six hour trip and told Zack what we would like to fish for. The plan was executed with a precision. We caught alot of fish and the species we wanted. I highly recommend booking with this group.

My son and I booked this trip. It was an amazing day. The crew was very informative, and explained what we were seeing to help catch more fish. The o ran was a little choppy but it added to the fun. When we returned to the dock we got to experience a group of nurse sharks, and a manatee, while they filleted our fish. There’s a restaurant ext door that cooks your fish to order. I would highly recommend this company. It was more like a private trip, which suited us well.

We had a great time fishing. The boat was nice and the captain was knowledgeable. Reeled in 3 sharks!! Would definitely recommend and use this service again.

I would like to start this off by saying this was by far the best charter I have been on. This year I’ve been on 9 charters and have never had the experience I had on the reel smoker. I have been fishing my whole life and own a sportfish and a wake boat so I’m familiar. the experience captain ZAC gave my family was truly amazing He helped my son which is 4 on multiple fish I wish I would have known before because I would have booked him solid all week. As a captain myself I enjoy fishing on other boats to see and learn techniques but on this trip I wanted to be on neutral ground when my son caught his first saltwater fish and zac delivered. “Reel smoker “ as a business owner and a boat owner I just want to say keep this young captain on your fleet it’s impossible to find an employee like this! I would hire him in a heart beat to run my boat!
