Took my son and his friend…they were basically first timers…chose Full Moon bc of the great reviews and am sooooo glad I did! Fred was extremely nice, very accommodating, patient with my “not-so-attentive” kiddos, had super cool gear and gadgets, and his prices were very reasonable. We had a great experience and can’t wait to go back again someday soon! Thanks Fred!

It was a great Grandfather, father, son fishing day trip.  Fred Mooney is top notch.  He knows the lake, has great equipment, and is a genuine person.  We caught good crappie and had a lot of fun sitting on top of a school of catfish with light tackle.  Even with the fish scattered this time of year, he was still able to dial them in given the current lake and wind conditions.  We highly recommend him and will be back.

My wife and I chartered a morning outing, and everything was fine.  We caught several good sized Crappie, more than I expected considering that it is the middle of July.  We then fished for some catfish just for fun, releasing all of them back.    Fred Mooney is certainly an experienced guide who we will use again when we are fishing in Southern Illinois.  I highly recommend him.

We went on a four hour trip that was on time and ready to go. It took us a little while to find the fish but when we found them we had a great time and we really caught some big fish.

Captain Fred Is a very experienced fisherman he took good care of us .The weather wasn’t good,but we still caught plenty of fish. We will use him again.
