Operating since the 1980s, Lake Toho Guides is Orlando’s largest and oldest continuously-operated fishing guide service. Capt. Steve and his experienced guides have been featured on countless fishing TV shows and in Bass Magazines 11 times, as well as on ESPN, ABC Sports, CBS Sports, and FLW Outdoors.
With Lake Toho Guides, you’ll be fishing aboard modern bass boats powered by 250hp Mercury engines, equipped with the latest fishing and safety gear. All fishing gear and lures are provided, but you’re welcome to purchase wild shiners, the most effective bait for trophy bass.
For groups of 4 or more, we only offer live bait trips due to the risk of multiple people casting artificial lures at the same time. If you’d prefer to fish with artificial lures, please book a trip with 3 or fewer people. For larger groups, we also have pontoons available, which can be found on FishingBooker.

2 1/2 Hour Trip - Splash & Go (AM)
The perfect Fishing Adventure for Beginners
We booked a 2.5-hour fishing trip, and the day before, Captain Devin contacted us to let us know the meeting point and offer us live bait. He recommended it, and we decided to buy it. Since we are relatively new to fishing, we weren't sure what to expect, but Captain Devin made sure we felt safe the whole time. He knew the area well and knew exactly where to find the fish. And the live bait was the best decision. We tried without it at first, but not a single fish wanted to bite. With live bait, we caught lots of bass and even a pike. Devin's patience and helpfulness made learning the basics an enjoyable experience for us. He brought all the equipment and was very helpful in reeling in the catch. We had a great time on the water, caught lots of fish, which were released after a nice photo with us! This was one of the highlights of our vacation! From start to finish, the entire experience with our captain was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better day or a better guide. If you're looking for a truly enjoyable fishing trip, this is the place to be. We highly recommend this trip and are already looking forward to our next one!

Half Day Trip - 4hrs (AM)

When I booked the charter with Lake Toho Guides, I wrote that I had two goals I wanted to achieve during my 4 hour charter. First I wanted to catch multiple bass. Secondly, I wanted to learn and practice some techniques using artificial lures. Captain Devin and I were able to start at 6:00 and he put us on the bass within minutes of leaving the dock. I landed 15 in 2 hours. I missed 7-8 more. We moved on to work artificial lures and the bit slowed but the effort to get us on the bass did not. I was able to boat two more. The conversation and teaching was great. Pictures were an added bonus. I hope I get the opportunity to book another charter with Captain Devin

Mini Half Day Trip – 5hrs
Great Fish, Great Knowledge,Great Day
The Captain was great, lots of lovely knowledge. Communication was good although we misunderstood a.message so we're late but this was not a issue. We also should have listened to the Captain and brought 4 dozen shinners as the live bait had so many more hits than lures. It was worth the extra expense. We were on fish within minutes or arriving at spot and advice on different style of fish for Bass was continuous, clear and successfull. We caught 7 good fish during our trip all on live bait. The Captain was a real character and conversation flowed easily across a wide range of subjects although as he said jokingly "except politics and religion" We had a great day and would book again. Thanks for making the trip memorable Captain Steve.

Perfect Day on Toho!
Went fishing with Devon on Lake Toho and caught so many fish that we lost count! Our son caught his personal best at 6lbs. 6oz. and I caught my biggest at 4lbs. 4 oz(amazing for a mostly inexperienced woman). We used live bait while my husband used artificial lures. My husband caught a nice almost 5lb. bass. Devon had us on the fish quickly, gave us great guidance, and we caught fish the while time!!! Highly recommend taking a trip with Captain Devon!!!

Three of us went fishing with Devin on a lovely day on Lake Toho . We were a bit worried as it was afternoon and the sun was out . But Devin knew where the fish were and we were soon onto them.The first fish was 2lb 8 oz and the second just a bit smaller then one at 3lb 3oz . Plenty of bites but we wernt fast enough .We finished with another 3 fish biggest being 4lb 2oz . A great 4 hours on the lake . so much easier with Devin as our expert .
