Captain Tim runs every trip with a focus on fun and learning how to bring in fish all by yourself. He aims to provide not just great fish, but great memories and skills which will stay with you for the rest of your life!
You will be fishing aboard a 24' Bay Rider center console, freshly-built in 2019. The boat can carry six anglers safely and can reach speeds of 52 knots on the way to the fishing grounds.
But the thing that makes Pirates Life 4 Us special isn't the boat, it's the crew. Capt. Tim runs a family charter business. He works with his kids on most charters, and he's proud of it. Getting children involved in fishing, seeing their faces as they haul in their first fish, passing on the skills to make them great anglers – these are the things he loves about his job.
Every trip is built for the group at hand. If you're all seasoned sportfishers, he and his crew will work hard to bring in a real record-breaker. Out with friends or with the family, and just looking for some easy catches? He'll get you reeling in fish after fish and having a great time doing so!
Captain Tim gets a brand new motor every 5 years, and this year he got a new Yamaha 250 SHO engine!

I would not book again in May. No fault of anyone, but fishing was not great and I kept hearing "It's too early"
I booked this trip to learn more about the area, where/how/when to fish it and just to overall catch some fish. Captain Tim delivered on all of the above! My two adult kids and I had an absolute blast. Although we didn’t catch a ton, we learned a LOT! Captain Tim is super patient, truly knowledgeable and an all around great guy. Beautiful day, great boat and Captain… who could’ve asked for more? I’m already looking forward to the next time we can run out and use some of our new found knowledge to slay ‘em!

Cannot say enough about Captain Tim and his boat. He is extremely knowledgable of the area and knows when to stay and when to move to keep up with the tides. His boat is the cleanest boat I have ever been on and he has all the tackel and rods that you need in great shape. If you are looking for a captain who not only works hard to get you to catch fish but also shares so much knowledge to make you more successful. If you are in the Emerald Isle area you should totally go with Tim for your fishing adventure.

We had a great time fishing and a completely enjoyable time on the water. Captain Tim had us on fish from the first place we stopped until our trip was over. He has great knowledge of the area and tidal fishing. We’re coming back in the fall and plan to take another trip with Captain Tim.

We were easy. Just cruising and listening to captain Tim’s jokes would have been enough. Speeding around the isle and feeling the salt on our faces raised it a notch. Sitting patiently while Captain Tim explained how to pay attention to the water and read the signals took it another level up. Feeling the inner peace from quietly listening to the water lapping at the side of the boat while also hearing the faint sound of the surf in the distance took it even higher. Coming up alongside dolphins playing in the sound made us feel like this was a perfect day. And then … catching four foot long sharks in different locations, one after another — there aren’t even words for what that felt like. Captain Tim promises fun — we got much, much more.

If he doesn't have a booked trip afterward and they are having a good time, he will gladly stay longer on the boat.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 30 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
