Reel Integrity – Panacea
If you're in the mood for some seriously fun offshore fishing on the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Reel Integrity is the charter for you! Anglers of all skill levels are welcome. If you're up for a serious challenge, the captain will put you on fish that will test your skills to the fullest. If you're new to the sport, the captain will take you through different fishing techniques and give you as much help you need to get hooked up.
Your boat for the day will be a 31' Jupiter center console powered by two 250 HP Yamaha engines. The vessel has a maximum capacity of 6 guests, excluding crew, and enough room for all of them to fish at the same time. The boat is equipped with all the necessary safety equipment, including life jackets for guests of all ages. Onboard electronics include navigation, communication, and fish-finding systems, as well as satellite radio.
Captain Joel will provide all guests with top-notch rods and reels by Shimano and Penn. If you're a fly fishing enthusiast eager to catch some local favorites on a fly, be sure to discuss it with the captain ahead of time. For fly fishing trips, anglers are expected to bring their own equipment. Live bait can be caught at the beginning of the trip or bought just before. Either way, it is included in the price of the trip.
At the meetup location, you'll have access to free parking as well as a couple of nearby convenience stores. All you need to pack for the trip are drinks, snacks, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Everything else will be waiting for you.
Now find an opening in the captain's calendar that works for you, book a trip, and prepare for a fishing trip you won't forget!
Gratuities are always greatly appreciated. The industry standard is 20%.
Fish cleaning can be requested for an additional fee.

Capt. Joel is the real deal. We were on the fish from the firsr second we got lines in the water. Capt. Joel is a most repsectful and knowledgeable Captain. We limited out on snapper and grouper. unbelievable day on the water. Capt. Joel took extra special care since we had a handicapped friend on the boat and Capt. Joel went above and beyond for him. we had a wonderful, blessed day. Great boat, clean, and dialed in. wow. what an experience.
We had the best day out on the water with Captain Joel Wier. Our ride out to the fishing area, to our surprise, was accompanied by some dolphins, and we spotted a few sea turtles during our trip. 🐢 😀. Captain Joel put us on the fish right away. We had fun catching some smaller fish and then my son and husband caught some nice dinner size mackerel, which turned out to be very tasty. Captain Joel shared his instructions for cooking, which turned out to be perfect for the boys. Captain Joel's boat is super comfortable for being able to maneuver around while catching fish, and we felt very safe. Thank you Captain Joel for creating a wonderful family day memory for us. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and would highly recommend Captain Joel. 😀

We were down late June of 2024. Joel was a very easy-going fella. He has modern electronics and he knows how to use them. His boat is clean and well equipped for what he is doing. His rod/reels are in good shape and ready to go. He does need to update his listing on this site. His boat is now sporting twin Yamaha 300s. It's a sharp looking boat. Our party was two adults, a 15 year old and two 11 year old youth. The goal for our trip was for the kids to get to experience this type of luxury. Joel was very accommodating. We went out about 18 miles and when he said to "drop 'em", I don't think it was 15 seconds and we had a fish on. The seas went from 1ft to 2-4' with some 5' waves scattered in so it got pretty rough (weather man missed it again). Three of the five of us weren't feeling all that great and Joel said "I'll stay as long as you want, or we can go back and try in-shore where it is a little calmer." The only thing that I would change about our trip is the one thing that no man can change.... the sea. Captain put us on the fish, I can't emphasize that enough. Another thing that left a good impression was Joel's patience with our question laden adolescent kids. When we got back into calmer waters and he had the opportunity, he took the time to answer any question the kids would ask(boat, equipment, rigging, etc) not short answers either, actually explaining in a way that the kids could learn. If you're on the fence, just go ahead and book the charter. Show up with your own drinks (not sodas either, water and maybe some gatorade-you need to stay hydrated) some snacks and some sunscreen. Joel has the rest. It is best to show up 5-10 minutes early (that goes for any charter.) Once our trip was over, I hated to leave. I felt like I made a friend. I anticipate that you will get that same vibe too. Great experience.

We booked a trip with the family as a birthday gift for my husband and had a blast. The boat was large enough for our whole family with plenty of room to move around, we had a bathroom on board and the ride out and back was beautiful. We even saw a double rainbow on the way out. Oh and we caught a lot of fish too. Capt Joel was great at putting us right on them. We will book again soon.
