Maximum Fishing Fun aims to provide unforgettable deep sea fishing experiences by a group of seasoned captains. For Captains Justin and Chris fishing is more than a job – it is their passion. Dubbed the "offshore battlewagon", the Worldcat 330E charter boat is powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines. With enough room on board, and a restroom, it gives you plenty of freedom and comfort.
Typically, your trip starts off with catching live bait as soon as you go out the pass which generally takes about 1 hour. You have the option to purchase livebait instead of catching it, if you like. Depending on how long the trip is, the livebait usually costs $60-$80. Which seems like a lot, but if you're catching it you're spending $250 per hour to catch it. So we highly recommend buying it over catching it.

6 Hour Trip – No Fish, No Pay
6 hr w/ cpt chris
We planned to buy bait to save some time. Bait man fell through so we caught some. It took around an hour to catch what we needed. We went out around 25 miles and caught a limit of red snapper. It was tough first thing and we had a hard time finding the fish but Chris kept us moving until we found some good holes. Chris was attentive and made sure to keep my 7 year old daughter engaged and having fun. Chris also made sure to keep an eye on everyone and ensure we were making the most of our drops. He coached several times making sure we did what we needed to do to get the fish on. Overall, it was a great time and I would recommend this charter. The boat was clean and Chris continuously picked up and washed the boat up during our charter. You’ll be hard pressed to find a group better than this bunch.

Captain Chris Is a Beast!!!
Experience of a life time, Chris is a true fisherman that grew up in Destin. We first caught all of our bait in about 20min, yes 20 minutes!!! He had us full of bait and catching fish within an hour or so. When I say fishing, I’m talking Amberjacks that are jumping out of the water to hit the lures, and you better be ready to real cause they are very strong and well over 3’ He literally asked us, Do you want a few more? Next we moved on to some good eaters Trigger fish, where we caught plenty including a mountable one, On to the next spot where we caught red grouper and red snapper including 2 mountable red snappers yes mountable massive 34” and 36” On to the next spot where we caught a 9’ reef shark. 90% of the line drops were fish and nothing small I can’t make this up, we are from Minnesota, and this was definitely the highlight of the trip. Chris was a true fisherman. He knows how to get you on some fish! It was truly an epic day of fishing!

Awesome trip
What a great time! If you’re looking for the top fishing guide, look no further, Chris is the man. He put us on the fish and my 6 year old made the leader board for biggest snapper. There was a tournament that week and Chris’s customers took first place, second place, again my 6 year old had the biggest the day we went! I think that speaks for itself. I highly recommend and we’re going to make a trip with Chris a yearly thing. Chris, thanks again for the awesome trip, my kids are still talking about how much fun they had.

Family Day at Sea
My family and I have fished with several charter boats out of Destin. I found Fishing Booker online and it did a great job at organizing boats and giving feedback reviews to help navigate who to choose from. I kept coming back to Maximus because of the size of the boat and the great reviews it has. We went out with Captain Chris, and he put us on the Snapper fast. We caught more than half our limit on the first spot. We also caught some grouper and a few other species to bring home. There are some negative reviews about how the captains talk and treat you. Chris has a good personality and would encourage us with some joking and light teasing. We welcomed it and enjoyed the conversations. He did great with our boys ( 16 and 11) and with my wife who caught a magnum, 24 # Red snapper. We would absolutely fish with Chris again. Gary Rymer

5 Hour Afternoon – No Fish, No Pay!
Great Afternoon Trip
We had a great afternoon 6hr trip. The boat was exceptional. Very comfortable and had a nice cruising speed around 27knots. We caught our limit of snapper and landed some 2 undersized cobia, 2 under tree grouper and 1 25” gag grouper which was super fun to catch but unfortunately out of season. The captain did an amazing job with moving us around to more active fishing spots and keeping our lines baited. We would definitely use them again.
