10/10 fishing trip. Captain is awesome and knows his stuff. Listen to him and you will catch as much as you want, nature permitting. If you’re looking for a relaxing day on the water this ain’t for you. The captain had us on fish pretty much non-stop the entire trip. Lost some to sharks of course but that’s just how it goes and was still able to land some decent snapper and two Gag Grouper in a 5 hour trip. Boat is awesome, Catamaran makes a huge difference and sounds great playing the captains top tier banger playlist. Already planning to come back for a full day trip to go after some marlin/swordfish/etc.

PS. Don’t listen to the small amount of bad reviews. Those people didn’t realize what they signed up for and probably live life on easy mode. If you want an awesome experience battling some fish this is the trip to book.

Captain Justin gave us warning and the opportunity to not go out due to the weather report, but we decided to go and give it a shot anyway. We were only 1 of 2 boats to attempt to fight the wind and waves that morning in the open waters.  Even in rough waters we were on fish the minute we dropped lines in the water. We cut the trip short but still had a blast and will for sure look up Captain Justin and Maximus on our next trip to Destin. I’ve been on multiple guided trips in the past and Captain Justin ranks the top of the list and ypu won’t be disappointed if you book!

Everything was great! We arrived on time, left the dock quickly, we purchased bait to save time ( I highly recommend ) and made the trip 30 miles out. As soon as we dropped the line we caught fish! When they stopped biting, there was no wasted time. Our captain told us to reel up so we could move and find the fish.  We hit the limit with red fish and caught a variety of others as well. We even got a large shark! When we got back to the dock our captain fillet all the fish and I didn’t find one bone! I would absolutely recommend this charter!

Captain Justin took me, my son and a friend out today in hopes of catching some red snapper. Morning started out slow was delayed an hour because of weather. Didn’t take Captain Justin long to put us on some fish. First stop just produced 1 trigger fish so Captain Justin said we need to go farther if we wanted to catch fish and boy did we. Second stop was the magical hole we limited out on red snapper in 30 minutes and caught several nice trigger fish but was unable to keep them because they were not in season. As soon as the bait hit bottom you were reeling in a fish. Also caught several more red snappers but we could only keep 6. We had an awesome trip and it was a blast.  Captain Justin sure does know his stuff when it comes to deep sea fishing very knowledgeable. If you are ever in the Destin area and you want to go deep sea fishing give Maximum Fishing a call you want regret it. Thanks Captain Justin for a great day!!!!

I’ve chartered at least 7 trips with Justin over the years. He provides a fun, safe and professional experience every time. I’ve caught snappers, groupers, sharks, barracuda, amberjack, tilefish and lots of other species with him. This time, we were after a bucket list species for me, Swordfish. Justin prepared the equipment, bait and everything required for the 70 mile run to the fishing grounds. Unfortunately the fish were not biting, but we still had a blast with the captain knowing that he did everything within his power to put us on the fish. Being a group of experienced anglers, we were fully aware of our catch odds when we booked the trip, and we’re not giving up. Captain was well prepared, and hilarious as always. Though we didn’t get any fish, we did grill some tasty steak 70 miles offshore. We’re already planning a second attempt at the swords with Justin next year :) ⚔️
