Join Captain Kaleb today for a great fishing experience. He has trips suited for everyone, of all experiences, so you are bound to find something to suit you.
Captain Kaleb has a brand new boat, with all the top electronics and gadgets. He can easily fit 4 anglers on his 22’ Ranger, which has 150 HP and a cruising speed of 43 knots. Coupled with his extensive knowledge of the area, and fishfinder, he will have you on the fish in no time! He even has a Minn Kota Ulterra automatic trolling motor – so you can sneak up on the fish, while he gives you his full attention.
You will head into the shallows for Redfish. The boat’s 12” draft lets you get deep into the skinny waters while its power poll will keep you in place, so you can fish your fill without drifting away! Bluetooth speakers will keep you entertained while waiting for the fish to bite. This all combines for a great fishing trip!
Light to heavy tackle is provided, as well as live bait. All sorts are used, from shrimps and blue crabs to finger mullets. Capt. Kaleb will prepare this beforehand for you, so you can spend maximum time focused on catching your next trophy fish! You can bring along your fly fishing equipment, and Capt. Kaleb will happily take you to the best spots to try your hand there.
On all trips, you will target Redfish, Black Drum, Seatrout, and Flounder. You will take in the beautiful sights of the Charleston landscape as you fish. The shorter trips are best for those just starting out fishing. Capt. Kaleb is more than happy to talk you through how to fish, and will teach you the tricks of the trade. You’ll be coming back for the longer trips in no time!

Excellent Fishing Voyage

I booked this trip as a covert birthday operation for my son, and Captain Kaleb executed it with the precision of surgeon armed with fishing poles and dad jokes. Despite the weather’s best efforts to wash us into the next county, our fearless captain refused to be deterred. From the very first cast, fish practically volunteered to join our party. Kaleb’s mastery of the river was only rivaled by his skill in matching my relentless stream of nonsensical banter, an ability I believe should qualify as an Olympic sport. By the end, I wasn’t just leaving with memories, fish, and a damp but happy child; I left feeling like I had made a new friend. Five stars, zero regrets, and a 100% certainty that we will be back to terrorize the local fish population with Captain Kaleb again.

We had a great time, all thanks to Kaleb!
Kaleb was wonderful! He was very down to Earth and easy to hold conversation with. He was very knowledgeable of the area and fishing in general. The part that won me over was how patient and encouraging he was with our 5 year old. Our son said "it was the best day ever!" The experience was awesome and we felt safe and in good hands the whole time. If (when) we return to the Charleston area, we will book with Kaleb again! I read reviews a lot, and he had good ones for a reason! Book your next trip with Kaleb, you won't regret it!

Cold windy day with great fishing with Captain Kaleb!!!
I was heading down to Charleston from Ohio to help my daughter and son in-law move into a new home. Not looking forward to an 11 hour drive in a U-Haul. The wife suggested I go fishing while there to relax and take my son in-law. I found Captain Kaleb on the web and liked all his great reviews. Booked the 1p-5p trip on 12/3/24 thankfully because that day ended up being windy and cold. Met him at his Marina. I advised him that my son in-law had only fished on land. Captain Kaleb explained to him the different rigs he used and explained the techniques he used with each rig. The conversation with him was great and entertaining. We caught a variety of fish. Twenty total. My son in-law caught the biggest Sheepshead I’ve ever seen. Great trip. Will book him every time I’m visiting my daughter in the future. Andy & Chris Cincinnati

First time booking a private fishing trip.
Captain Kaleb was very professional acting and also an all around great guy with great character. He try’s his hardest to keep you in the bit while it is best and will go out his way to try to find the fish when the bit is slow. Myself and my oldest son went out yesterday for four hours and caught 4 sea trout that was keepers and several that was to small to keep. We also got into the redfish but wasn’t lucky enough to find any keepers. I would recommend that anyone looking to book a private fishing trip for two persons to book it with Captain Kaleb. We will be booking another trip with him at a different date b/c we enjoyed the trip. Great job Captain Kaleb and keep up the awesome fishing experience.

Captain Kaleb was very professional acting and also an all around great guy with great character.
