Welcome aboard Wicked Eye Charters! It’s time to explore Lake Erie and new depths of Walleye and Perch fishing with Captain Joe Browett as your guide.
The Wicked Eye is a very clean, comfortable and well equipped 29’ Albin mini yacht. It has all the latest fishing gear and electronics to get you to the fish and keep you on them! The boat boasts 300 HP Volvo Diesel engine ready to take you chasing after Walleye and Perch every day. The hull of the vessel is designed to cut through the waves, not smack into them.
Wicked Eye has so much more to offer than regular charter vessels - a fully enclosed wheelhouse for the cold days, a spacious toilet, as well as a sleeping and eating area below deck. This is especially convenient for the kids to get some rest when they get tired. For the hot and rainy days, there is a permanent soft top over half of the back.
All these advantages make it easy to take kids and seniors out for an enjoyable day of fishing. Wicked Eye Charters is very much family oriented and always happy to have children on board. The captain loves to start the new generation of kids out right.
Capt. Joe offers full-service Walleye and Perch trips, located in Marblehead, Ohio. Lake Erie is the world’s epicenter of Walleye fishing, so you better believe that there is some tasty fish out there waiting for your bait.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included in the price of your trip, as well as live bait and lures. The young first mate will gladly give you a hand in everything, and tipping him at the end of your trip is always welcome.
You will also find free parking close by, and if you need pickup from Kellys or Bass Islands, Capt. Joe will gladly accommodate you for an additional charge.
Wicked Eye Charters goes the extra mile to make sure their anglers catch fish and make wonderful memories along the way. All you need to do is show up with some food and a smile, and they’ll take care of everything else!

A.M. Half day trip
Great day
Joe was great! One of the biggest boats I have fished on and perfect for Lake Erie. Joe got us on fish right away. Was thinking he had to go along way but started fishing on the way and caught our limit in 3 hours!! Joe is very patient, knowledgeable, and taught us how to fish with dipsey divers, jet divers, and spoons….will be back! Thanks Captain Joe

Fun 1/2 Day
Afternoon trip with Captain Joe and First Mate Hunter was a great trip. Quick pop-up storms-the usual on Lake Erie-added an extra fun aspect to trip. The Captain knew his audience--the two of us are not the type of people interested in fishing in rainy weather, so we went to Kelly's Island for a snack at the West Bar. Cleared off as predicted and we went out to catch our limit. They knew where to go and how to set the lines for great success. We had an opportunity for our limit. And they were committed to staying out until we did. Clean boat, competent and pleasant crew. Great trip.

Evening 4 hour half day walleye
Great first experience with fishing walleye
My wife daughter and I wanted to try walleye fishing on Lake Erie. Joe and his son provided a great experience. They taught us how to set lines for trolling. We had 10 lines running and once we got the lines in it was non stop reeling in walleye. They were tracking the walleye and knew were to drop lines. Both Joe and his son worked their butts off helping us get the most out of the trip. We caught the limit for walleye and threw back a couple nice catfish. I would highly recommend Wicked Eye charters. We will most definitely be checking back in with Joe for a try at Perch.
