The ‘Hey Babe’ is a 46’ Newton offshore sport fishing boat. This beauty comes powered by twin 450 HP Cummins engines and can comfortably accommodate up to 10 anglers. She is fully outfitted with Furuno electronics, outriggers, tuna tubes, and other professional accessories.
The Hey Babe features a flybridge to spot baitfish and top-water feeders. She also has two private heads, a hot shower, three rooms where you could hide from the sun, and three air-conditioners. The only thing’s she’s missing is you!
The trips with Hey Babe Charters are all-inclusive; you will only need to pack your lunch and something to drink. Deckhand works for tips (20% is customary.)

Captain Mark and First Mate Lucy were superb! We had seven people on our trip. Three of them had never had the opportunity to go deep sea fishing. Mark and Lucy provided such a great experience for all of us. The three “rookies” absolutely loved it. On our first couple of stops, Captain Mark wasn’t satisfied with the size of the red snapper we were catching, so Lucy would return those to the water and we would move on to the next spot. Mark was determined for us to catch larger fish. Through his determination, we did! Everyone caught fish. We had no complaints regarding mark or Lucy. We only have high words of commendation. They work so well together. If you are looking for a captain and first mate that will give you and your group a fantastic experience, by all means, choose Captain Mark and First Mate Lucy on the “Hey, Babe!”

10 Hour Trip on July 28, 2024
We have been coming to Orange Beach/Gulf Shores for more than a dozen years and always take a deep sea fishing charter when we are in town. This was probably the best charter we have ever been on! Capt Mark and Capt Sean are simply amazing, especially with kids. They have great spots where we caught our limit of very large snapper, and when my 13 year old son asked if they had ever caught a shark, they asked him if he wanted to catch one! They set him up with a rig and bait and talked him through what to expect, and then coached and cheered him while he pulled a 300 pound bull shark up to the boat for some great photos before cutting him loose. It was an experience of a life time for him! And after all that work for almost an hour to pull that big boy in, he curled up in the very comfy air conditioned cabin for a nap while we fished for beeliners. A great day with folks who treated us like friends, made us comfortable and helped fill our freezer with delicious snapper. Our 11 year old daughter and 76 year old father had a great time and caught fish as well. We cannot recommend them enough and we will definitely be back! If you are looking for a fun, family-friendly charter, this is the one!

We had a great time on “hey babe”! We had 3 adults and 4 kids aged 7-9. We started our trip early in the morning at 6am and were to our first fishing spot around 7. Lucy, our deckhand, taught us all how to bait our hooks and drop our line and we immediately started pulling up huge red snapper! It was so much fun seeing the kids fight these huge fish. We got to keep 2 snapper per person so we came home with tons of fish! Towards the end of our trip my husband caught a Cobia, they said it was the first one that had been caught this year, we thought that was pretty awesome. The captain maneuvered the boat to help fight this huge fish and then helped wrangle it in the boat. We got back to the docks and they took pictures for us with our phones and cleaned the fish for us. Overall this was a great experience that we would love to do again. The boat was very clean with a working bathroom and running water to wash your hands. The captain and deck hand were both super helpful! 10/10 recommend “hey babe”

First time deep sea fishing for most of us. Crew made sure we had a great time. Rode high on top of the boat with the wind in our hair on the trip out. Sean was great helping all us novices bait our hooks, untangle lines and bring in the fish. Captain Mark found the fishing areas and gave us a few great recipes on how to prepare them. Sean cleaned and bagged our catch. WONDER DAY.
