You will be fishing aboard a 19' Lund boat which was built in 2014 and has been kept in great shape ever since. The vessel can carry up to 4 guests in comfort, and cruises at speed thanks to her 200 HP Mercury Verado engine.
Lake Of The Woods is nicknamed 'Walleye Capital Of The World' among those in the know. Its vast, murky waters are heaven for Walleye anglers, and people come here from across the continent to pull in a trophy 'Pickerel.' Sturgeon also grow to huge sizes here and are one of the toughest battles you can find in freshwater. And if that's not enough, you can take on Sauger, Northern Pike, and a variety of other local favorites.
The spring Walleye run usually kicks off in the last week of March and runs through the middle of April. This is an amazing time to take on giant 'Gravel Lizards' as they make their way upriver. By late-April, Sturgeon season has started in the lake. Put your skills to the test against a fish often compared to Marlin for its sheer fighting power and acrobatics. From mid-May onwards, its back to epic Walleye fishing until the lake freezes over.

Jason was great. Put us on quality fish all day. We covered a lot of water, but each spot produced great fish. Equipment and bait were great. Would highly recommend Jason. Looking foward to repeating a trip with him next year.

This was my first time fishing and I couldn’t have picked a better fishing guide. I shared this experience with my uncle and my fiancé. Jason was very nice and down to earth. He knew were the good fishing spots were and we seemed to be catching more fish then others. I definitely will be booking Jason in the future. He provided a great experience with people I love and I thank him for that.
It was a very windy day, Jason kept us on the fish and by the end of the trip we had caught our limit. All in all, a good day!
