You can go wading through the crystal-clear streams and rivers surrounding Marquette and Chase Brown Trout, Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Steelhead. Spin casting, fly fishing, and drift fishing are the main techniques used in the River and the guides will provide you with all the necessary gear.
A variety of trips are available on foot, wading the rivers, from a walleye boat, or on the ice.
If you’re into something a bit cooler, December through March ice fishing is an option. Climb on the captain’s snowmobiles and head out on the frozen lakes to fish. The team from MQT adventures offers a turn-key experience, everything is set up and ready to go as soon as you set foot on the ice. You’ll be supplied with heated shelters, a guide, underwater cameras, sonar, rods, bait, and tackle. You will know when the fight is about to start. You’ll be reeling in Perch, Pike, Crappie, Blue Gill, Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout, Coho Salmon, and Whitefish from under the ice.
Maybe you want to target a specific species or just really like fishing in a certain area? No problem, all trips can be changed to best suit your wishes – just talk to the captain and he’ll help you get the trip your heart desires!

Matt & Cory are extremely helpful with knowledge in guiding with their equipment and techniques for condition of the river & weather. Both exceeded the three of us expectations and gave knowledge to help us acquire our own gear. Definitely will be booking another wading guide with them in the future and hope to run into them on the river with the knowledge they provided us. The will and passion they bestowed to land us some fish, was remarkable, and stuck it out as long as we could to land us three some trophy's.

Outstanding Day Stream Trout Fishing!
Full Day - Brook Trout - Stream on June 3, 2024
I had an outstanding, very memorable day of stream trout fishing with Mike! He took me to many many good spots holding trout, and showed me how to fish each one. Some of the spots I wouldn't have thought fishable, but they were - and held big trout! I caught my personal best brook trout and brown trout - about 17" - 18"! Although I'm normally a catch & release angler, we caught so many trout that we kept some for a tasty campfire shore lunch. I had a great and very memorable time fishing with Mike.

We came from Iowa to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for the first time. We booked Mike for a 5 hour walleye fishing trip on our last day. It was great. We caught more than 30 fish (catch and release). It was the best day of the entire trip. Mike was professional and prompt. Highly recommend this service and Mike. Best time ever and I caught a 24” walleye. My wife never likes to fish but even she caught fish and had a great time. Jeff
