Escape the hustle and bustle of city life by spending some quality time on the water. Captain Michael May has over two decades of experience and will show you the best places to catch the most fish.
You will spend the day aboard a 17’ Mitzi skiff. This beautiful boat can fit 3 anglers fishing at once without crossing lines. With her 70 HP Yamaha engine and fishfinder, you’ll be on the fish before you know it. The boat also boasts a livewell tank that will keep your live bait fresh and ready to go.
You will target Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and Flounder. State restrictions have catch limitations, but you are sure to take fish home with you. After the trip, Capt. Michael will fillet your catch. You just need to decide how you will cook it. It is advisable to have a cooler in your car ready to take the fish home in.
Kids of any age are welcome on board. Capt. Michael has life vests for them, and they are sure to go back to school with some great fishing stories. Start their lifelong love of fishing today, in this classic form of angling. No experience is needed. The captain will show you the ropes and have you fishing like a pro in no time.
All rods, reels, lures, and bait are included. You will need to bring a packed lunch, and if you fancy drinks other than water than that too. Parking is available at the marina and Capt. Michael will cover the parking costs for you.

Great fishing trip!
Loved our captain “Captain Mike”! He made sure everyone had a great time and caught fish. He was a great guy and can’t wait to go again with him. He is the one to take a guide trip with.

Our trip was a full day
Capt. Mike was very friendly and had extensive knowledge of the local waters and of the area we were visiting. We caught several different species and was well taken care. He showed up on time and had a livewell full of different types of bait so we were ready for anything that came our way. He also had a wide selection of artificial lures for me to use and i did catch redfish on the paddletail jigs that he had ready for me when the opportunity presented itself. So all in all it was a excellent day and we learned alot from our expert captain. I would suggest you take a trip with Captain Mike whenever your visiting St.Augustine Fl. or if your just passing through and have some extra time.

We had a great experience with Captain Mike. It was our first time visiting this part of Florida and we wanted to find some Reds. Knew it might be tough given the time of year and the heat, but after a bit of a slow start and some smaller ones, Captain Mike kept working and was able to put us on some nice ones, the biggest begin 29 inches. Would definitely recommend a trip with Captain Mike. He is knowledgeable, patient and works to get you the experience that you are looking for. Will do it again in the future.

I planned this trip as a Christmas present to my husband. I’ve always enjoyed fishing but have never been the driving force behind going, and wasn’t expecting to love this trip as much as I did. Captain Mike was awesome! He gave great advice without making me feel dumb and worked really hard to make sure we caught some fish- even in the colder than normal temperatures. We enjoyed getting to know him, exploring the different fishing spots, and catching a few red drums! I recommend to the most apprehensive of people. We will definitely book again when we are back in the area!!
