Ready to experience fishing in the timeless waters of legendary Destin, Florida from a unique perspective? Fishing aboard the “Back Down 2” is more than a fishing trip – it’s an unforgettable adventure!
The Back Down 2 is an impressive 57’ Miller Marine offshore sportfishing boat, freshly restored in 2017. Thanks to its fully air-conditioned luxurious interior and a large deck, it can cater to up to 6 anglers fishing at the same time in maximum comfort and style.
This fishing machine is powered by twin Detroit Diesel V8 engines, 600 HP each. It features a flybridge, two restrooms with showers, two bedrooms with enough sleeping room for eight passengers, and a kitchen. You’ll also find top-notch fishing gear and amenities on this beauty – from outriggers and downriggers to a fighting chair, live bait tank, and ice-boxes.
The Back Down 2 is perfect for both overnight Marlin and Tuna expeditions and family-friendly day charters. Depending on your preferences and the targeted species, Captain Phillip Blackburn can take you anywhere from 15 to up to 160 miles offshore. On the menu will be many interesting species, such as Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna, Swordfish, Mahi, Red Snapper, Cobia, Kingfish, and many others.
The captain will provide top professional gear, live bait (caught during the trip), lures, and licenses. All you have to do is show up and land your personal best!
