Blue Wolf Charters invites you to explore Vancouver Island with Captain Roy Carver! You’ll have a chance to fish, relax, and tour one of the most pristine and rugged coastlines along the eastern Pacific. Capt. Roy is an expert angler and a licensed chef, so once you’re done filling up the boat, he’ll send you home with a delicious recipe you can use to prepare a savory meal!

Your boat for the day is a 26’ Hourston performance sportfisher. She’s equipped with all the bells and whistles you’d need for a successful expedition on the water, including state-of-the-art electronics, downriggers, safety gear, and top-quality fishing tackle. This boat is also outfitted with high-end amenities to ensure a comfortable trip for everyone. You’ll have a private toilet, shower, galley, bed, and comfortable seating, making her the perfect vessel for long trips.

You’ll be fishing along the Juan de Fuca Strait, from Port Renfrew all the way to Oak Bay. Depending on the season, you’ll be able to target lots of Chinook and Coho Salmon, as well as Halibut and Rockfish. The spring is ideal for Halibut, while the summer and fall months are great for Salmon, and there are over 30 different species of Rockfish you can target throughout the entire year.

Capt. Roy keeps top-of-the-line rods and reels on board, made by a variety of different brands, including Fenwick, Shimano, Penn, Daiwa, and more. He also provides water and soda but you can bring your own drinks as well, including beer (just no hard alcohol).

Capt. Roy will offer to clean and fillet your catch and leave you with a few of his favorite recipes to take home. All you need to do is purchase your fishing license online and print out a copy to bring with you. Also, make sure to pack an extra layer of clothing in case it gets windy, and you’re all set!

Create lasting memories with Blue Wolf Charters and book your trip today! Everything is already covered so you can show up ready to fish and have an amazing time!
