Hop aboard Knotlost Charters and discover just how fun Ontario fishing can be! Captain Paul Komrowski is a licensed Coast Guard Captain with a Master 50GT Licence who knows what it takes to have a hell of a day on the water.
He is a 30-year veteran on the lake and will do everything to put you on Trout, as well as beauties like Atlantic, Coho, and Chinook Salmon. Trolling is the name of the game, and you’re free to keep whatever you catch on your half day trip.
If six hours doesn’t seem enough to you, you can arrange with your captain to double that time. You will get to the top fishing spots within 30 minutes, and as soon as the fish start to bite, Capt. Paul will be by your side to help you reel them overboard.
The vessel “KnotLost” started her life as a 26’ Starcraft, and since then the captain completely rebuilt her to make her even more suitable for lake fishing. The boat is outfitted with a 320 HP Mercruiser engine and is prepped and ready to take out up to 4 anglers. She now has a nice cabin to protect you from the wind and rain, a cuddy cabin, and a clean private toilet.
Top-rate fishing Shakespeare and Daiwa gear will be waiting for you as you start your trip, so you don’t have to worry about lugging your own equipment. All you should keep in mind is bringing drinks and snacks for when you become peckish and need to keep your energy up.
Kids are welcome to join on any trip with Capt. Paul, as long as their parents are with them and they’re all excited about having the best time catching fish.

Had a great time!
We did a 6 hour afternoon trip with Captain Paul in mid July and caught two fish, one of which was enormous! 36” long and 26 lbs! It was a particularly calm day and sometimes that makes it harder to find fish, but the conversation was good and we had a great time just learning about life locally and fishing life specifically. And of course it was exciting when we got a hit! We had 3 bites but lost one. Very much recommend this particular charter for the good company. Thanks, Captain Paul! It was great to meet you!

Half day trip with Cpt Paul
We had an amazing time with captain Paul. My fiancé had never been on the lake and he did a wonderful job of giving great advice and history on the lake that I had no idea about, even after fishing in it since I’m 10! We were out about 7 hours and hooked into 3 fish (2 absolute monsters) and landed one, a 10 pound steelhead, although the two we missed were probably close to double that. If you’re looking for an experienced captain that will make sure you’re having a good time I highly recommend captain Paul!

Our trip idea was basically last minute but Captain Paul responded fast and was still able to put an amazing trip together. We ended up catching 2 beautiful King Salmon. Both adding up to around 42lbs! He even fillet them for us when we arrived back from the trip. He is a great guy who definitely knows what he is doing. His stories of his life adventures and experiences are also one of a kind. Cant say it enough of how great of a time we had and he definitely does the most to make sure his guests are having a good time. Definitely worth every penny, will definitely be booking again next time im around!

If your ever looking for a great charter with a experienced knowledgeable captain Paul of knotlost charters is your man! Not only is he an all around great guy he does everything he can to get you on the fish And get them in the boat . his boat and gear are well maintained and top notch.! You can see buy the way he takes care of his equipment Works the charter he loves what he does.. we had a blast out on the lake and can’t wait to get back out on knot lost and land is some salmon And big browns ! Thank you for everything Paul see you in the spring!!!!

A great day with Captain Paul and Knotlost Charters
Took my son on a fishing charter with Captain Paul. Couldn't have had a better time. Everything worked out perfectly, we caught fish, enjoyed a comfortable day on Lake Ontario and learned much from the Captain. When we visit Oswego again, we will be scheduling another charter with Captain Paul and Knotlost. Thanks Captain!
