Game-On Charters is the premier fishing guide service always ready to show what Louisiana inshore fishing is all about. Captain Steve Fleming is a local who knows these waters like the back of his rod and he’s willing to share his vast knowledge.
Capt. Steve specializes in sight fishing to Redfish in the shallow water marshes of South Louisiana, all on light tackle and artificial lures. You will find all the necessary fishing equipment on board as well, including baitcaster rods, as well as Lew’s and Penn reels.
Aside from Redfish, that definitely dominates these landscapes and waters, you can also hope to snatch Spotted Seatrout, Black Seabass, and Flounder. Although Capt. Steve doesn’t oppose to harvesting Redfish, he still likes to encourage catch and release. What you want to keep, he will gladly fillet and bag it at no additional cost.
No other guide service in the Houma area can provide their clients with the exciting experience of sight casting to Redfish in the shallow crystal clear waters. If one day of fishing in these amazing conditions just isn’t enough, you can book a 2 or 3-day package that includes the price of accommodation.
Speaking of which, the fishing lodge you will be living in has all the comforts of home and is right on the water. The accommodation can take up to 6 anglers, is air-conditioned, has a fully equipped kitchen, and an awesome deck to enjoy the sunset.
For this Louisiana fishing escapade, you will come aboard a 21’ Majek powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine. This is a shallow water flats boat rigged with an aluminum tower that puts you high above the water so you can sight cast to your fish.
Don’t forget to buy your own fishing license, which can actually be done online in a jiffy. Bring your friends, your family, and get ready for a day (or a couple of days) to remember.
Book a trip with Game-On Charters and find out what’s hiding behind Capt. Steve’s words “We got game and we bring it to you!”
