Niagara Fish Assassins Sportfishing invites you to team up with Captain Mark Defoy and cruise Lake Ontario in style, landing fish as you go! Capt. Mark is always confident enough to guarantee your satisfaction on the water, whether you’re an old hand at the hobby or someone just starting out.
Capt Mark has a nice spot at the St Catharines Marina with a gazebo and BBQ overlooking the marina itself. It’s just perfect for a little get-together before or after the trip.
His boat is a 40’ Searay express cruiser that runs on twin 350 HP Mercruiser engines. She’s a spacious vessel, with enough room for 8 anglers to fish in comfort. Apart from all the necessary safety and navigation gear, there’s also a vacuum toilet aboard – convenient for longer trips.
If you’re a fan of freshwater angling, Lake Ontario is definitely the place for you. With Capt. Mark’s help, you’ll become a fish assassin yourself in no time! The species you’ll be targeting here are Brown and Lake Trout, as well as Coho and Chinook Salmon.
You’ll be provided with all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you’ll need, so just make sure you have a freshwater fishing licence packed and ready. After the trip is over, the crew will clean and bag the catch for your convenience. If you’re looking for a good old time going after fish, hop on aboard now!

He was kind and talked to us about anything like he had been a friend for life and the boat was great and he knew what he was doing from start to finish we had a great time and will go back fishing with the next time we are up this way plus he did a excellent job cleaning the fish I can tell you that T.S.P. OUTDOORS had a good time and you guys know that follow us know our motto is go big or go home and he dose to do takes for the trip see you soon

What a great day with my kids and cousin,We lucked out with the weather as it was a beautiful cloudy and calm day also lucky we had captain Devin no doubt he is very professional and knowledgeable in his field. It was our first time fishing he taught us like nice teacher and helped us like a good friend. The boat was awesome We caught first salmon in less then 10 minutes. We caught 5 salmon 15-23 lb and 2 trout 10-12 lb and my kids caught and released some, Overall it was a great experience. Thank you captain Devin. Thanks for the ever lasting memories, we'll definitely see you again.

Half Day Trip with Connor and Lucas

We are five senior ladies who booked a trip because most of us hadn't been on a boat in many years. I'm sure when the guys saw us coming they thought "oh no, what are we in for." But Captain Mike was fantastic about all our special requests, and our boat captain Connor and first mate Lucas gave us the most fun trip we could have wished for. We cruised, trolled, caught four salmon (two almost 20 lbs, one smaller fish, and a tiny one we threw back in). We spend six hours chatting and laughing with the guys and with each other. They helped us with the fishing, and knew when to stand back and let us do it ourselves. They worked tirelessly to set and reset the rods to try and get the best results, and remained good-natured no matter what we could or couldn't do. The boat is superbly equipped, the engine wasn't loud even when we were going full out, and there was no fuel smell which we had experienced in the past. Connor expertly cleaned and filleted the fish in a matter of minutes, and the guys were super helpful in getting us on and off the boat with all our belongings (and our fish!). What a wonderful experience. The only snag is now we almost HAVE to do it again, which we hadn't planned for. But it was so much fun we very likely might, and will certainly be recommending Niagara Fish Assassins to family and friends. Thank you Mike, Connor, and Lucas. What a great team you guys are!
