If you’re ready to have fun fishing in Marathon, book a trip with Ana Banana Fishing. Captain JoJo will be your guide, offering years of local experience.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Black Grouper, Blackfin Tuna, Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Sailfish, King Mackerel, Amberjack, Great Barracuda, and whatever else is biting. During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Joseph can also have you kite fishing.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You’ll be dropping lines from a 40’ Sportfish Hatteras that holds up to 6 anglers. It has outriggers and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience as well as ice-cold A/C What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. It’s recommended to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed.

3 Hour Family trip
Awesome all around!
Caption Jojo and Mate Eddie were fantastic! We were nervous about fishing on the Atlantic side, bit we should not have been. We caught so much fish we couldn't keep them all! No joke my arms are sore lik. Biggest plus though, was having a full bathroom on the boat. Not gonna lie, that's why we booked it, and it was a fantastic decision. Boat was clean and kept up, Captain Jojo cleaned the fish after, and recommended a restaurant we could go to for dinner to have it cooked. We will definitely be back again!

Wonderful time out on the water!
We had the best time with captain Jo Jo and first mate Eddie. They know what they are doing and we caught some nice fish which were delicious! They made sure if an area was not active we move to another location. Very attentive in assisting us with poles, baiting etc. Cleaned and bagged our catch. Super nice crew! Will be looking them up again when we get back to the keys!!!

Great day fishing with Capt JoJo on the Ana Banana
Hard working and knowledgeable crew that worked hard to ensure my family and I had an epic day on the water. They worked tirelessly to get the fish in the boat...from sailfish, kingfish, snapper and even a grouper or two. They flew kites, they bottom fished, they made sure we had a good time. These guys know how to get it done out here. Family friendly, easy going down to Earth crew. B You should all atop reading this and just book your trip with these guys for sure.

Tight lines!
We had a great time with Jojo and Eddie! We brought back 28 keepers Yellow Tail, Mangrove Snapper and Mutton Snapper. We also caught a mess of Jacks 3 sharks and 1 Goliath Grouper. I highly recommend Jojo and his team they are fun and they will get you on the fish!!! We will be back!
