Your fishing trip will take place aboard a 20’ Fishmaster. This is a clean, seaworthy fishing machine with enough room for you and four fishing buddies. It is powered by a single 150 HP Mercury engine and is ideal for a productive day on Lake Tawakoni. There are a GPS and a fishfinder to save you time while you’re searching for the big one.
The boat is equipped with the finest rods and reels by Temple Fork Outfitters, Tightlines, and Extreme Baycasting. You will be provided with RSR lures and will be able to catch your own live bait.
Enjoy your day on the lake and hone your angling skills. Using the most productive methods, you will be able to catch Striped Bass, Hybrids, and Catfish.

This is our 2nd booking with Jonathan and "Luck of the Irish" charters. We left today right on time and were on top of fish immediately. We were pulling in white bass every time we put the line in the water. Jonathan was amazing. He makes sure that he takes you to the "honey holes" as I call them. We left he marina at 7:30am and we had our limit by 10:00am. The fish weren't small as far as white bass are concerned. They varied in range from 11" to 16". Since we maxed out early, Jonathan was happy to see if we wanted to try for other fish but we decided to head in. Trust me, Jonathan will do everything he can to put you on the fish. I will say that today was the first time fishing in the fog. It was insane. We couldn't see 10' in front of us. It was eerie and fun all at the same time. We will definitely go back and fish with Jonathan again for the 3 time. Book with Luck of the Irish. You get your money's worth!!!

Our fishing trip with Omar was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we stepped onto the boat, the excitement was palpable. Omar's infectious enthusiasm and expert guidance made the entire experience a blast. We were a group of four, and between us, we managed to reel in an incredible 91 fish! It was an absolute frenzy of hooks, lines, and laughter. Omar's knowledge of the water and his ability to find the best spots were truly impressive. He made sure everyone had a chance to catch something, and even the less experienced anglers in our group felt like pros by the end of the day. What truly sets Omar apart is his ability to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere. His stories, jokes, and overall positive energy made the day feel like a family outing. Captain Omar was absolutely amazing! I took my little cousin out on his first fishing trip and our captain was so helpful. He explained everything so thoroughly and gave us many tips. He also answered all of my questions I had. I have already started recommending him to family and friends! We will definitely be back!

Jonathan was great. He put us right on the fish and we had our limit of quality fish rather quickly. We watched several other guide boats next to where we were fishing and they weren’t reeling in the fish like we were. I will definitely be booking another trip with Luck of the Irish. Full Day Trip on July 20, 2024
Captain Omar is great, had a game plan to limit out on Sand Bass then take us to catch Hybrids and Stripers. 125 Sandies and 7 Hybrids total. We caught a whole lot more that had to be released but we had super fun catching and releasing. Thanks Omar we will be back.

We are family owned and operated and encourage family trips and events because that's how we grew up.
