On board Tampa Bay Captain, Captain Mike Turner will take you on an adventure around the rich fisheries of Tampa Bay, where you can hook some of the finest Florida inshore species. No matter how skilled you are, the rich stock of Snook and Tarpon and schools of Redfish, King Mackerel, Grouper, and Snapper will have you coming back for more.
Captain Mike Turner is a proud Tampa Bay native. With over 30 years of fishing experience, he knows all the hidden fishing spots in the area that offer the best angling action.
Step aboard Capt. Mike’s boat, a spacious 24’ Privateer Renegade. She accommodates up to 6 guests and everybody can fish at the same time. The boat has a full tower that allows easy navigation and fish spotting. The boat goes smoothly in both backcountry and miles off the coast.
The fish you will target depends on the season and your preferences, but you’re most likely to go after Grouper, Snapper, Tarpon, Redfish, Permit, Kingfish, Cobia, Seatrout, and many more. Capt. Mike almost exclusively uses freshly caught live bait. He prepares it before the trip to ensure more fishing time.
Kids of all ages are welcome! Capt. Mike is a very patient teacher when it comes to children or inexperienced fishermen and he will gladly share his knowledge. So don’t let any lack of experience stop you from coming here and having fun.
The boat is docked at Holmes Beach but a pick up can also be arranged. Your captain can pick you up from any dock in the Southern Tampa Bay area, including Cortez, Anna Maria Island, Manatee River, and Longboat Key.
Capt. Mike gives his best to make your trip with him the one you will never forget. Book your fishing adventure with him and see why everybody keeps coming back to Tampa Bay Captain!
