Now is a great time to fish with Live Salty Charters. Available year round, you’ll have an awesome fishing adventure with Captain Raul Delgado. He has been fishing his whole life and was delighted to be able to open a charter company with his brother-in-law after he retired from the public services earlier this year.
Hop on board his 25’ Blue Water center console. This beautifully maintained boat has twin 200 HP Suzuki engines, with a cruising speed of 40 MPH. She has great electronics on board, including Sirius XM radio and Garmin navigation equipment. This will all combine to keep you on the fish all day long.
Capt. Raul specializes in using live bait and light tackle for Sailfish, Kingfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo and many more. You will catch these great species on his trips. Mahi Mahi is available all year round but is most abundant from April to July. They are the most sought-after fish in these waters, are fun to catch, and delicious to eat!
Everyone is welcome on board, no matter your skill level or age. However, on the offshore trips, children should be over 10 years old. Before the trip, it’s best to have a chat with the captain about how much experience everyone in the group has. From this information, Capt. Raul will decide whether to use a first mate on your trip to help you.
Live bait is included in the price and is caught before the trip. If you would like to help catch the live bait, please talk to the captain prior to the trip, and he will try to arrange this.
You’ll use top of the line rods and reels that won’t let you down when you’re reeling in your trophy catch. All you need to bring on the day are your own refreshments and sunscreen.

Absolutely incredible time with one the happiest, friendliest, most flexible, and most accommodating captains we’ve ever fished with. We wanted to go offshore on a windier than perfect day and Raul was enthusiastic to take us. We consider ourselves amateurs but Raul made us feel like pros. In particular, my girlfriend appreciated that Raul included her in every discussion and decision keeping her equally involved throughout the process — something she hasn’t always felt on other charters in the past. Huge props to Raul for keeping things interesting with his stories, depth of knowledge and keen eye for spotting wildlife (frigates & sea turtles). If we’re ever back in town, Raul will be the first to hear from us!

My two daughters and I went on a first-time half day fishing trip with Raul and Gonz and simply had a blast. My daughters cant wait to go back, especially after catching colorful fish including a small shark. The captain and co-captain took care of everything which is good for me because I ain't no fisherman. AWESOME FISHING DAY

We spent half day fishing with Captain Raul. Overall it was a great trip. The boat was a good size, clean, spacious and had satellite radio to enjoy some good tunes while fishing. The captain was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and easy to talk to. The weather cooperated with clear skies and smooth seas, which was perfect for some good bottom fishing (my favorite). We caught our limit on yellowtails and mangrove snappers, including some really large ones. A private fishing charter is definitely the way to go as opposed to the crowded fishing party boats. I highly recommend Captain Raul and Live Salty. Go fishing!

I went out on this fishing trip with Captain Delgado. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He knows where to go to catch the big ones. The fish were caught within 15 minutes of each other. Non stop action is what he is all about on the trip. His boat was ready for action and his fishing gear is top of the line. I was equally impressed with his GPS coordinates and his ability to move with the conditions. In short, I would say that he is focused, prepared and ready to give you a fishing adventure.
