Operating out of Neptune City, New Jersey, White Crab Charters specialize in ocean fishing, from inshore wreck/bottom fishing to trolling and drifting. They are a family friendly crew that will take the time to explain, teach, and help their customer.
Safety is their main goal aboard the 'White Crab' (Coast Guard inspected). Their second goal is for you to have the best/most productive fishing experience possible on the water.
Captain Jimmy James invites you to spend an incredible day aboard the White Crab, a 30' Mannino downeast boat. It can carry up to 6 anglers of all experience levels fishing comfortably. Powered by a 250 HP Cummins 5.9L 12v engine, the vessel also features an enclosed portable toilet, top-notch marine electronics and safety gear, and an ice-box for your catch.
The captain will show you the best inshore/nearshore, reef, and wreck fisheries. Depending on the season, you'll get to target a variety of species, including Black Seabass, Striped Bass, Flounder, Tautog, Porgy, and whatever else takes the bait. You'll be fishing for Tautog/Blackfish from November 16th until the end of the season.
White Crab Charters will cover all bait and standard tackle. Cleaning and filleting are also included and done at the dock or on the way back. The first mate will be helping you with everything you might need, so tips for his efforts are recommended.
There's no minimum age for kids and life jackets for them are provided, but it's recommended that you bring your own for maximum comfort. You're also welcome to bring your own cooler with food and drinks of your choosing.
