Captain Cesar Perez has been fishing Mexico's Pacific Coast for the last 20 years. He founded Pesca en Vallarta to offer high-caliber angling adventures going after all the area's top gamefish. From inshore trips targeting Roosterfish and Jacks to deep sea adventures heading over 100 miles in search of Tuna, these guys will get you on the fish, wherever they are.

Spend your trip aboard 'El Jefe,' a 38' Silverton yacht powered by twin 370 HP Cummins engines. The boat is equipped with a range of electronics and navigational tech to make sure you're fishing in the right place. Once you're there, her outriggers will throw your lines far and wide while her skilled first mate makes sure all your gear is ready for that fight of a lifetime.

There's no limit to what you can find on a trip aboard 'El Jefe.' Shorter day trips take on Roosterfish and Jacks while letting you snorkel and swim in the warm, sheltered waters of the Banderas Bay. Crank things up a notch, and you'll be venturing 50 miles out to the edge of the Bay in search of monster Marlin and Sailfish.

Pesca en Vallarta specializes in multi-day trips. These could take you to the deep-water canyons 80 miles offshore. You won't believe the fish you'll find in these remote waters, with grander Marlin and 200-lb Tuna a constant possibility.

Capt. Cesar knows that not everyone is after die-hard sportfishing, though. Family groups to tournament pros, all are welcome aboard. He will tailor each trip to your wants and needs, and will always have a trick up his sleeve if the fish aren't biting. Everything you need for the day's angling is waiting onboard. Just grab some food and drinks and head out to catch some fish!

Great Trip!
6 Hour Trip - Nearshore on May 4, 20268 adults

We had a few of 8 men go out as part of our buddy's bachelor trip. Every person caught a fish! Crew was great! Only thing I would change would be a provided lunch as we were all awful hungry by the end. Unfortunately due to our flight timing we were unable to be organized enough to manage a meal ourselves so we just had some snacks to hold us over until we got back to our resort. Otherwise highly recommended!

Greasy job
8 Hour Trip - Offshore on July 31, 20264 adults

Only caught a small one coming back in but it wasn’t the crews fault they really worked hard, just was one of those days and that’s why it’s called fishing and not catching. Great Crew
