Exciting end to a great evening of fishing

Half Day Trip – Sunset Fishing on April 5, 2026 • 2 adults

This was our second trip (in several years) with Hooker charters. They are  great. Excellent team and good fishing both trips. We had a wonderful Easter evening catching snapper, grouper, triggerfish, yellow tail and some others. Able to keep a lot of catch since sizes were decent on most of what we hooked. The highlight was using a bit of live bait we caught to lure and bring in a Hammerhead shark about 4'. So cool and so strong! We released him after a few pics. Just a phenominal end to a wonderful evening on the water. The crew was gracious and friendly throughout. Recommend Hooker Charters for Aruba fishing, we will choose them again for our next trip for sure!

Swimming with Turtles

Bottom Fishing and Snorkeling (AM) on February 28, 2026 • 2 adults • 1 child

I took my Wife and 10 year old son on this trip. we did bottom bouncing and immediately my son caught 3 trigger fish, i caught some yellow tail snapper, my wife caught some as well (including other species). My son really wanted to snorkel and swim with turtles so they took us closer to the island and Jake and I swam with fish (they chummed so there were even more around) and then took us to a place they said would be a good chance for turtles. Towards the end they directed us to a turtle they sighted and you should have heard the excitement in my son's voice! He was happy, and my Wife was happy so of course I was also. They cleaned our fish and i kept some to have the restaurant make us lunch and gave them the rest. Theis was a great trip!

A family afternoon of excitement

Half Day Trip – Bottom Fishing (PM) on April 14, 2026 • 2 adults • 2 children

My friend and I took our two sons, aged 10, on the afternoon bottom fishing charter. We had a grand old time, both kids caught a good amount of fish. The crew was wonderful, very attentive and helpful. We had two highlights, early on a barracuda bit one of our fish in half. The crew quickly reacted, and got the remaining piece of fish out there, allowing us to catch the barracuda. At the end, we pulled in a massive mullet snapper. I highly recommend this charter for families.

First Aruba charter

Half Day Trip – Bottom Fishing (AM) on January 27, 2026 • 5 adults

These guys were amazing.....our party of 5 had people of various physical and mental abilities. They took it all in stride! Captain Mike and mate Javier were so good with everyone aboard. They put us right on tbe fish, and we filled the cooler with triggerfish and grouper. Caught and released numerous yellowtail too. So much fun for everyone!  We highly recommend them.and look forward to chartering again with them next year! Do yourself a favor.....and book.them!

Bottom fishing with Hooker Charters

Bottom Fishing and Snorkeling (AM) on June 18, 2025 • 2 adults

Had a blast with The captain (Marcel) and (Jr.). Very friendly and put us on some outstanding bottom feeders! We caught various species such as queen triggers and grunts, triggers being my target fish!..it was non stop bites and catching!. Ended the trip with a little snorkeling which is also nice if you want to explore the beautiful reefs blue water in Aruba.  Trip even got better with the captain and mate who clean our fish to be taking right away while it was still fresh to a near by restaurant who cooked our fresh fish!, and it was delicious!. Also clean a few more for us to take back to our room where we will have another dinner while we stay in this paradise place of Aruba!. I give the Hooker Charters a 5 ⭐️ hands down!. Thanks again for an awesome time!!
