Niagara River Guide Service invites you aboard to see the world-famous Niagara Falls from a whole new perspective. One of the longest-running and most respected charter services in the region, they cater to all types of anglers. Join them for a summertime fishing trip on the Niagara River, targeting a wide range of fish in a world class fishery.

The Niagara Falls are just as spectacular for anglers as they are for tourists. The waterfalls themselves and the rapids below them cause the river downstream to be extremely rich in oxygen. This attracts large numbers of bait fish, which in turn draw all types of gamefish into the area. Everything from Walleye, Perch, and Smallmouth Bass to Steelhead can be found in these waters during the summertime, and NRGS knows what it takes to catch them.

Your trip will start from Niagara Falls Boat Launch, on a peaceful waterway sheltered by Cayuga Island. From there, you will be fishing the Niagara River, targeting the area’s top sport fish as they make their way to and from Lake Erie. Most of your trip will involve drifting and casting, with high quality Diawa and Shimano equipment provided at no additional cost.

You will be fishing aboard a fully equipped Alumacraft fishing boat, powered by a 200 HP engine. The boat is fitted with a trolling motor and downriggers to access the full potential of these rich waters. What better way to experience the beautiful scenery of upstate New York?

Whatever your previous fishing experience, join Niagara River Guide Service for a day out to remember. Let them customize an experience just for you and fish one of the world’s most iconic waterways with the experts!

Mike was outstanding! He's patient, respectful, helpful, hardworking, and an extraordinary fisherman, mentor, teacher, & ship captain! He's focused on the safety, comfort, fishing experience, and success of the fishing trip for everyone on his boat! He knows where the fish are and how to catch them! All 3 of us caught multiple, large, smallmouth bass at various places on the Niagara River thanks to Mike! We loved fishing and, especially, CATCHING fish! Mike's the BEST! For a wonderful, memorable, fun, successful fishing trip, please call Mike!

Great Fishing Trip

Captain Allen Smith was an excellent fishing guide and made the fishing trip very enjoyable. He made sure we caught a variety of fish (more than15, we stopped counting after a while) and new where the fish were as well as the best bait to catch them on. We enjoyed learning about fishing on Lake Erie, the variety of fish, etc from Captain Al since we live in Florida and are only familiar fishing there. I highly recommend Captain Allen Smith if you are in need of a fishing guide.

7 HOUR TRIP LOWER NIAGARA RIVER

VERIFIED

Full Day Trip on July 24, 2024

Terrific fishing trip on the Lower Niagara and Lake Ontario with Captain Steve. We limited out on walleye in the first 2.5 hours of the trip. Steve is very knowledgeable of the water and skilled at targeting many different species of fish. In the latter part of the trip we went after smallmouth and I was able to land a nice 4.5lb football bronzeback. The fight was awesome! Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and looking forward to coming back.
