Fintastic Striper Fishing Charter
Fishing the rich Tennessee waters has never been as action-packed and fun than with Fintastic Striper Fishing Charter. Operating out of Jefferson City, Captain Wilber Brady has been fishing these waters for the past quarter of a century. He loves showing the abundance of the area’s lovely outdoors to the visitors – his trips are always full of excitement and unforgettable! When he’s not on board, your trips will be run by Capt. Bobby Crabtree.
You’ll be fishing aboard a 21’ Mako center console, out of the box in 2014. Powered by a 200 HP Mercury engine, it can accommodate up to 4 anglers in full comfort and comes equipped with an array of professional marine electronics and safety gear. It has the latest Lowrance GPS, sonar, fishfinder, and structure scan electronics. Downriggers, a live bait tank, wireless trolling motor, and even a multimedia system can be found on board.
Fintastic Striper Fishing Charter reels in over 1000 fish yearly in the waters of Norris, Melton Hill, Boone, Watts Bar, Fort Loudon, Cherokee, and Douglas reservoirs and French Broad, Clinch, Tennessee, and Holston rivers.
Capt. Wilber and Capt. Bobby are the most passionate about fishing for Striped Bass. They’re all about the Striper action, both from the surface and bottom. So get ready for some sight casting, trolling, live baiting, and downrigging to depths over 90’.
The captains also have a lot of knowledge and success with Catfish, Crappie, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, White Bass, and Trout. They’re big on CPR policy – catch, photograph and release!
The charter will cover all the needed gear, from top of the shelf tackle by Penn to live bait (prepared before the trip), and lures. Catch cleaning is also included. The first mate, Capt. Wilber’s son, will be present on some trips to help make your trip even more comfortable. The only thing you have to do is get a valid fishing license and you’re good to go on an adventure you’ll remember for years to come!
