You'll be cruising Lake Erie on a top-of-the-line 30' Island Hopper sport fishing boat. She can comfortably accommodate up to 6 anglers, and you can all fish at the same time. As well as top-notch navigational and safety gear, there's also a first mate on board to lend a hand. Your vessel is equipped with outriggers for maximum trolling, and a covered top that offers plenty of shade. You'll be traveling in comfort and serious style!
Lake Erie is known for its abundance of Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, and Perch. Capt. James loves helping his guests reach 'limit catches' of these fish, so choose your target and get ready to reel 'em in! Want to go after a combination of species? Just let him know in advance. You can expect to troll, jig, spin, and drift-fish, so no matter your level of experience, your captain will help you find the technique that works best for you!
Your trip includes top-notch Saint Croix rods and Shimano, Daiwa, and Fluger reels. Tempting live bait is caught and prepared in advance. For Smallmouth Bass, there's a small charge for artificial bait. All that's left is to grab a fishing license and join Champion Charters for an unforgettable angling experience!

Not only was the fishing amazing, but the crew was half the experience! Captain Mike and First Mate Bear are phenomenal at their jobs. They always had a quick joke or funny quip to keep things interesting while still staying on top of everything. They kept everyone rigged up, reacted quickly whenever someone hooked a fish, and were always ready with instruction and advice to help us find and catch fish—even for the big bass fisherman in the group who kept setting the hook too hard and couldn’t seem to keep his rod tip down! Their knowledge, hard work, and great attitudes made the trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great day on the water.

We thank you and your crew Pierce and hope to have you out fishing again sometime soon. What could we work on to reach five star next trip ?
When I read that this charter consistently met the fish limit, I was in. Captain Trent proved to be the reel deal. A real catch of a captain. He raised me from a journeyman baiter to a Padawan baiter. His master skills at baiting coupled with his expert knowledge of his equipment certainly kept the trip running smoothly. Careful not to mention 'spinner' or Goat head, or you'll be adding to the swear jar! The executive package includes basic cleaning and a cooler full of great snacks and drinks. If you let them know ahead of time they'll Stock it with what you want! Great captain, great tunes, great times, kid friendly. Thanks again Cap!

We thank you and the rest of the crew Travis. hope to have you guys back fishing again soon !
